I went to the Greensboro location to get a ring fix when a prong broke. I waited 20 minutes to even be acknowledged while two women who came in behind me by 5 minutes and 15 minutes were helped before me. While I stood against a display in the middle of the store nobody asked me why I was there or “I will be with you in a few minutes”. All the workers saw me and made eye contact (no smiles) when I walked in and kept looking at me while I was waiting and looking at items while waiting. Eventually I was helped by a man after I made a comment about others being helped while I have been waiting longer. They also had an older male worker walking around the store not helping anyone or doing anything. I heard the male worker even tell the older man to help out. Instead the older man went behind a case and started cleaning rings behind me. He also did not even acknowledge me even though he was across the counter from me. After a half hour I was finally helped. What I needed did not take but five minutes as I had everything all ready and in my hand. I was very mad when I left and I am a very happy person. I waited to make a complaint as that is not like me and I was thinking it might get better. It did not. Weeks passed and nobody called to say my ring was ready until I had to call them to ask. When I went to pick it up the female worker asked me for my receipt. The man had taken my warrantee card/receipt and didn’t give me anything in return. She gave me my ring based off my ID but did not have the warrantee card. I had the ring fixed 4 years ago in Pittsburgh, PA and they took the card but returned it when I got the ring back. I asked the worker about the card and she said she didn’t have it and walked away and started helping another customer. Very rude. This store had absolutely horrible service and ruined me with Zales. Now if my ring breaks again I have no proof of warrantee to show them and I see this causing problems in the future since I have needed that card/pamphlet/receipt each time I’ve gotten it fixed. I have nothing on the ring now as the man took all documents I had. I highly DO NOT recommend this store.
