Delicious Thai food in the most unexpected place

Tucked into a tiny, dated strip mall near the heart of downtown Tucker, Yum Yum Thai sparkles like a hidden gem.

The warm, friendly smile of one of the owners greets you when you walk in the door and it feels as if you've been invited into someone's home rather than a modest restaurant in a dying strip mall.

Each menu item is carefully prepared as requested by the guest. The owner-chef never balks at a request to add an extra ingredient or create a new menu item as a special request.

Stir-fries taste fresh and never seem heavy or overcooked. Seasoning is perfect and spicy dishes can be tailored to each guest's specific taste.

Masaman curry is an exceptional dish and like all their curries, can be prepared with either tofu or mixed vegetables rather than meat.

Take the time to find this tiny delight and enjoy one of the best Thai meals you've ever had.

Terrible location; okay food

An average food selection in a terrible location. Surrounded by failing businesses in the bad side of Tucker, Yum Yum provides good service, but average Thai/hybrid food. The menu is not as varied as I would like; but the food is acceptable.

Delicious

The location isn't beautiful and its a small restaurant stuck in the corner of a mostly abandoned shopping strip, but that doesn't affect the quality of the restaurant.

Casual/Cosy/Quiet atmosphere,
Great Flavorful Food
Outstanding service
Great Menu/Prices

Not a place to go if you're looking for:
-food that looks like art but tastes like nothing

I went there with my fiance who said he'd eaten there for years, so I know they've been around for a while. They must know what they're doing if other businesses around them can't last.

Hidden Thai

Don't miss this quaint thai restaurant in a not so pleasant older mall in Tucker. Good curries, masaman my favorite and basil chicken. Friendly, fast service. Great for lunch.

Good Thai, However meals alittle overpriced for what you get!!!

Having traveled the world eating at various Thai restaurants
I ordered the Pad Thai noodles with chicken.
Received my carry out, and thought the container felt light for Pad Thai for $8.75
When I got home open my container, and
saw only 5 small pieces of chicken. Flipped the rice noodles over no more chicken.
Basically I paid for all noodles.
For that price, I should have gotten chicken and shrimp.

Too priced for this order.

The Whole Package

I cant say enough about Yum Yum. Excellent food, flawless service, great prices. Its just a joy to be there. Must-haves are any of the curries (green is particularly luscious) and the spring rolls.

Flavor! Reasonable Price! Friendly Service!

I love this place. I go here all the time and have never been dissatisfied. My usual dishes, because I love them, are spicy basil chicken, drunken noodles, prik king chicken, curry panang, fried crispy tofu... it's so full of flavor. The best I've tasted in the Atlanta area. This is a great family owned restaurant so if you're looking for that one of a kind, hole in the wall, amazing food kind of place... this is it! You will no t be disapointed!

Yummy Yummy!!

Love this place! I've been coming here for over 5 years. The basil duck is excellent. I've tried other restaurant's basil duck, and it's always too fatty. Yum Yum's is perfectly crispy.
Sometimes the staff can be overly friendly and helpful, but they are very attentive.
