Don't be fooled by the location...
Warabi is the best combination of delicious, fresh sushi and reasonable prices around. This quality of sushi is usually found only at crazy expensive places like Nishino in Madison Park. I go here at least once a week and find myself...So yummy and so affordable, esp. for a japanese resturant
This resturant used to be a different japanese resturant that I used to go to regularly, I was so bummed when I drove by to see something totally different. I heard good things about it so I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! The food is so tastey, you can tell it's high quality, but without the high price. The menu is different, it is bigger, but It has most of the dishes it did before, and a lot of good looking new ones too.WARABI's now
I used to goto Yamashiro every week, but it has changed to Warabi. The food is a little different but still really good. I love the rolls and nigiri especially. I dont know if its a new owner or just a new menu, either way i will returning weekly as before.DON'T EVER GO TO THIS PLACE SUCH A RIP OFF!!!!
I love going to sush places, and for the most part, I'm ok with it. But, after trying Warabi or whatever this place is called yesterday, I was very very disappointed. The food was horrible and was very expensive. The portion wasn't satisfying either. I had some of the worst sushi rolls I have had in my life. It felt like a completely waste of money. I would never go back, and I recommend nobody to try their sushi and rolls. Find some other place that are better (which is not very difficult because anywhere else would be better)Just not the same anymore :(
My boyfriend and I used to love this place and come here all the time for happy hour. Best sushi around seattle! When we noticed the name change, we decided to give them a chance. One of the rolls we ordered was a fried shrimp tempura roll. I actually witnessed them MICROWAVING it!!!! Need I possibly say any more?! I would rather eat at Sushi Land, the Mc Donalds of sushi then the horrible overpriced food I received from Warabi.I won't be going back
I used to really like this place but due to our poor treatment tonight my friends and I will not be going back. We arrived at 7:30pm for my husband's 40th birthday celebration. With five of us over the course of 2.5 hours we ordered 5 sakes 5 beers and 3 cocktails at which point when having to request another round three times we were sheepishly told by the waitress that we were cut off and that there was a 5 drink each limit. We hadn't had 25 drinks so we were puzzled and asked for some clarification as to why this rule was in effect since we had been to Warabi several times before and had never been cut off like this. We were then told that some guy (the bartender or the head chef) felt that too much alcohol was going to our table. I don't feel we were being any louder than any other time and since there weren't any other patrons in the restaurant I couldn't imagine it was our behavior that brought about our sanctioning. My guess is that since it was a half an hour from their 10:30pm closing time they were trying to get us out of there so they could leave early.Worldwide > United States > Seattle, WA > Sushi and Japanese Restaurants
