Apartment renters BEWARE!!!
I was a tenant at Willowind apartments for one year and was very unhappy with the management. I called on more than one occasion for blinds to be fixed and a running toilet to be repaired, but no one even had the courtesy to return my calls. Upon moving in I paid a $200 deposit, $150 of which was non-refundable. When I moved out of the apartment management denied me my $50 deposit because they had to repaint the apartment and clean the carpets! The only thing that had to be repaired were the blinds (which cost them $25). The rest of the apartment was perfect, except for everyday wear and tear. These things should have been paid for out of the $150 dollars of non-refundable deposit. I did nothing to damage the apartment. The total to clean the carpet, paint the walls, fix the blinds was only $125. So if you decide to move into these apartments, just know that when you move out you must cover all the holes left in the walls from pictures and repaint them and clean the carpets in order to get your measly $50 deposit back.

I have live at willowind Apartments for six months in a 2 bedroom 2 bath with a fireplace apartment. I have been very pleased with th maintenance, management, and everyone has been very friendly, also has a great location for shopping :]

APT SEEKERS BEWARE.U DNT WANT 2 LIVE HERE UNTIL IT IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. THE APTS R BEAUTIFUL BUT THEY ARE WORE DOWN CUZ MANAGEMNET DOES NOT FIX ANYTHING. THE REASON Y THIS IS HAPPENING IS CUZ THE MANAGER IS MARRIED 2 THE MAINT. MAN AND HE TELLS HER WHAT TO DO EVEN THOUGH SHE IS THE MANAGER,BASICALLY THE MAINT MANS CONTROLS THE PROPERTY. SO IF YOU PUT IN A REQUEST FOR SOMETHING TO GET FIX YOU WILL BE WAITING LEAST A MONTH TO GET IT FIXED AND IF YOU CALL AND COMPLAIN TO HER SHE SAYS THEY FIX IT BUT YOU R STILL GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT. THE KILLLER IS IT IS NOT LIKE HE IS BUSY U WILL SEE HIM WALKING AROUND DOING NOTHING. SINKS AND TOILETS R ALWAYS STOPPED UP R LEAKING THE APTS HAVE ANTS EVERYWHERE AND THE ARE A REAL PROBLEM AND THE NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR GETS WORSE CUZ THE DONT FIX ANYTHING. SO UNTIL ITS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT DNT WASTE YOUR TIME CUZ U WILL NOT BE HAPPY.
