Animal Care Center is a JOKE!
This place is a total joke. I just moved to Smyrna 4 weeks ago. My cat has been vomitting for about 2 weeks. I thought it was due to the move. I called the office and they said to bring the cat right in. \r

AVOID THIS CLINIC!!
Avoid this place at all costs!! I had taken my Golden Retriever pup to this clinic for his neuter and it was a disaster. The staff was cruel to my pup right in front of me...dragging and choking him when he was too scared to walk with...

This place is a Joke. The Dr. is o.k. at best. The receptionest is incompetent and the staff has flat out lied to me on two occasions. I have continued to take my animales because they are less expensive, at times. Enough is enough...

Animal Care Center
We have had Dr. Williams as our vet for many years. He has a wonderful way with pets and you sense that the animals trust him. When our beloved Max died several months back , Dr. Williams called us to see how we were doing. The care here is professional , caring , and compassionate.

Excellent Caring Dr. & Staff
I have been a customer of Dr. Williams for at least 10 years. When we got our first dogs (MAX and Shadow). I was referred to the Animal Care Center by someone at my church who was very pleased with the center. Dr. Williams is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor. My family and I moved out of state for 3 years with my dogs. They died during the course of that time. My family recently relocated back to GA and we just got 3 new puppies (Red, Chowder, & King) I immediately brought them to Dr. Otto for their first check up. and there is NO place else I would trust my dogs care than with Dr. Otto and the staff at the Animal Care Center.

Dr. Williams is like no other vet i have ever known. His genuine care and concern for animals is rarely found these days. He has been there for my pets for the last 10 years and i consider him a member of the family. I live in Duluth now and i continue to make the drive all the way across 285 to see Dr. Williams.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
I recently moved here & didn't have a new vet when my kitty became very ill. I didn't have time to search for vet reviews, so I just found this place near my home. The inside stunk like urine & it was dirty. The receptionist told me they would take my pet & check him out in between surgeries scheduled for the day. By the evening, no one had called. I finally got someone on the phone the next morning. They told me they would need to run more tests. To make a long story short, 5 days later, they did exploratory surgery(not correcting the problem)& with no conclusive diagnosis. On the 7th day, I demanded that I be allowed to pick up my cat. He was sent home with NO pain medicine & stiches the length of his stomach to rectum. No one called to check up on him & my bill was outrageous! Since this is not a 24hr vet, no one was even there overnight checking on my animal making sure he was ok, not in pain, & cared for appropriately after surgery. I have now found an amazing vet that specializes

Animal Care Ctr is not very truthful!!!!
I took my dog there in FEB for a full check up and shots. I was told he was very healthy!! Around mid June he was not eating and lost a lot of weight. Then I changed his food and he got very bloated and was urinating a lot. I took him to Animal Care Center and they supposedly ran some tests and x-rays and I was told that he had a tumor and would have to be put down. I asked the Vet how could this happen so fast if he was just checked out 5 months earlier????? I have asked for tests results and other related information and cannot get anyone to call me back. I have left several messages for the Vet to call me, and nothing. I really don't think that this is a professional way to run a business. Calling your clients should be the utmost importance. I will never return to this place ever again!!!! The very sight of it makes me upset!!

Animal Care Ctr is a GREAT BLESSING to us!
With no appointment, I was able to leave our dog there for the complete round of tests and shots for a most reasonable fee. LOVELY PEOPLE! Definitely recommended.

Bad Customer Service

So I go in this morning around 9:30 am and receive cold stares from both ladies at the front desk when I say I'm here for a grooming appointment. I was then told that there would be a $10 late fee charged for bringing the dog in after 9am. I stated that no one told me that I had to be there by 9am. They then said you have to take that up with the groomer so I said I will. When I got there to pick up my dog the total charge was $55 without anyone giving me a statement showing what the charges were for. So I asked what the $55 consisted of. The lady said $45 for grooming and the $10 late fee. I told them I wasn't paying that as I stated earlier that morning so she then asked if I wanted to speak with the groomer. She called Terrance

I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THZ BAD REVIEWS ARAM! Those ladies have it hard dealing with rude clients and such a rush to get animals taken care of,So maybe if you had of went in with a positive attitude and patience I'm sure you would of had success like I always do.As a matter of fact,i have been in there when you were and you were quite RUDE to the youngest receptionist.These ladies are the sweetest and can't help if the Techs or Dr.Otto is with other patients.Patience is the KEY!

I had never heard of a doctor doing this and I will tell you it made me feel just awesome - I know my cats were being well cared for. Dr. Williams would set his alarm clock for every two hours and get up to give my cat an antibiotic after major surgery, for example.

They performed tests on my dog without my knowledge or consent and then charged me through the roof after the fact.
