An Underrated place
I've eaten here several times as a precursor to east village debauchery and the place never disappoints. It always seems to not be crowded (inexplicably) because its cheap and has great service. It appears to be a family run place and the decor is not great but the food is really nice and easy pricing. The beer selection is quite good--all asian styles and even (yuck) budweiser for the uninitiated. Try the duck village.Whatever I've tried, I've liked a LOT
I always thought the name of this place was cute, and finally went in to try the Thom Ka (?) Coconut soup, and Thai Papaya salad (Som Tum), which are some of the standards I judge a restaurant by :) They were really delicious, though I like my papaya salad to have a little kick, and theirs is not spicy at all. I tried the Panang Curry tonight and it was delicious, so I definitely reccomend them - Though I have not tried EVERYTHING on the menu, by far, they just seem really good so far! Enjoy.great restaurant
the thai here is consistently good (i've been a customer for several years now). i've yet to find another thai place i like more. i usually get one of the curries with tofu, but i've also tried the fish, shrimp, and noodles and never been disappointed. and a singha goes well with all of it! i too can't figure out why this place is always empty! but, better for me, because i never have to wait for a table!Excellent Food, Good Price, and Great Service
I found this Thai restaurant by an accident as I strolled along one day. And to my luck, I scrolled in during their LUNCH SPECIAL.BEST THAI IN THE VILLAGE
I found this small and nice Thai restaurant when I was walkin' in the night. I can recommend it to everyone for kindly acceptance a lot orient them.I remember it as a very romantic lounge (I was with one of my best and cute friend) serving a good oriental food and beverages.Great Thai restaurant!
The service is nice, the food is great, the place is very cool. Why just four stars? Well the dumplings were just OK but well priced and the Calamari salad that was recommended wasn't all that great and kinda small. But the red coconut curry was tasty and so was the fish with green beans (yum) and big enough portions. Thankfully we all shared.Worldwide > United States > New York, NY > Indian, Tibetian, and Bangladeshi Restaurants
