I spent the better part of the last week visiting my Mom is california. While I was there she took me to all the thrift shops she enjoys. Being an advid thrift shopper, I enjoy going to new shops. This place was very nice. It was clean, organized and had a very helpful staff. I found a few things I liked but had to pass because I was out of space in my luggage. Being that we were on the way to the airport, I did not have the time to repack. Next times I am going to go here first and take an extra bag!For a great cause!
Not the most well-stocked thrift store, but worth a stop by. They have lots of great finds here, from furniture to knick-knacks. I was able to find my husband a great shirt that he wears all of the time. They are always having sales as well, and the proceeds all to go Women Escaping a Violent Environment! What's Happened? New Management?
Weave Thrift Store used to be on my favorites list -- but something's happened --- I was told they were making the store more of a boutique -- upper end thrift store -- and raising the prices on items --- which, at least for me, has left the place uninteresting, overpriced and very low on inventory (since they literally throw away in the garbage all the donations that don't meet their upper end image) -- from what I saw today I'm not alone.- It looks like they're phasing out their glassware and smalls dept., they have a book corner now complete with a chair to relax while you peruse their inventory - really -- why don't they serve tea, also? It's mostly uninteresting paperbacks not well organized and overpriced- and they'd rather throw in the garbage the items that aren't selling rather than reduce the price --- and their shoes -- good heavens -- I've never seen a thrift store asking such high prices for used shoes --- they're not even named brand shoes --- just ho hum -- andCLOSED DOWN
