Best Authentic Viet food without having to drive to little saigon
I've been here 4 times w/ my boyfriend because I'm vietnamese & he's japanese and we both loveee vietnamese food. Considering the name is Vietnam restaurant, we went in with low expectations, but the food was surprisingly pretty authentic and the prices were very reasonable. Only one time was the food I had mediocre but the every other dish I've had there was delicious & authentic. My boyfriend loves eating here b/c it's good food for a great price. Definitely will be back!Get your downtown Pho Fix here!
This joint used to be a downmarket place to grab some top notch vietnamese food (for me Pho in particular brought me in the door). Recently, they have re-decorated the interior and it is no longer rough around the edges. The walls have a fresh coat of cream colored paint and new tile has replaced the worn dirty carpet.a 15 year affair
Once you've had the hot and sour soup, you'll crave it the rest of your life. The spring rolls are the best anywhere. Why on earth would you stand around at PF Changs with a silly buzzer in your hand and pay four times as much for the something even better you can get here. I can't get enough of this place.Cheap but very good food
From the outside of the restaurant one would never know how good of a place this really is. We went for their lunch buffet and we were very surprised at the selection of food. The lunch buffet was reasonably priced and the taste of the food was pretty good.No longer a hole in the wall..
Stopped by tonight for dinner after at least a year since my last visit. I on my way I had told my friend that we were headed to a hole in the wall with good food but when we got there I noticed that they have renovated. New awnings and signage, fresh paint inside and nicer tables and chairs. The building is historic and has its own charm now that it has been cleaned up. Parking wasn't an issue at 7:30-8PM on a Saturday night. Plenty of it. The neighborhood isn't the greatest (if you go a block in any direction it can look a little rough but on Bryan near Vietnam there are no real concerns. No complaints about the service but I did find it odd that they did not bring me a check and my waiter disappeared after we got our to go box. When I asked a waitress she said something about paying at the cashier so we went up and had to tell them what we had. I don't remember that being an issue last time but it was late and well over a year ago.The BEST Dish isn't on the Menu...
I've been going to this spot for years. The staff is truly great...Hands down the best place in Dallas
I have been going to Vietnam since I discovered just how much I love Vietnamese food. This place is great, even my four year old loves it. The service is top notch and the food is unbeatable. The scene is quiet and secluded which to me is perfect. The last thing I want is a loud meal. I will continue to go to Vietname as long as they decide to keep the doors open for me.Best Pho In Dallas
Of all the places in Dallas I have had Pho Vietnam Restaurant is by far the best! Broth is full of flavors and served with a generous amount and variety of herbs. In addition, their Vietnam spring rolls are awesome (crispyest I have ever seen) as well as their salad rolls.Terrible service
There were only 14 people in the restaurant and I waited and Had to flag down someone or everything, a drink, to order, to get a refill and to go container. Was not checked on once.Second chance, worth the trip
The first time my husband and I tried this restaurant, I hated it. The service was fine, and his pho looked good, but I tried the buffet. I would not reccommend it. The food was bland, dry, and cold. when we decided to reinstitute "date night", this was the first place we went, since he likes it so much. I decided to give it another shot. This time, I tried the pho. It was some of the best I have ever tasted. I have had better, but not in Dallas. The only issues I had on this trip were the lack of parking (until I was told I could park behind the restaurant), and the fact that they had remodeling going on while we were eating. More than anything, it was just loud. It was in another room, so we were definitely not actively impacted. The food more than made up for the noise. We will definitelty be going back here again.Worldwide > United States > Dallas, TX > Restaurants
