Blast from the past

This is the kind of place that is hard to imagine still exists - it's straight out of the 60s, although with a mod, metal-ish kind of edge to it these days.

It's a psychedelic shop, and has all the things you'd expect from such an establishment, from the funky posters and t-shirts to the stranger paraphernalia. Some of this stuff is definitely not for the younger crowd. But this place is worth visiting, if only for the curiousity value.

THE place to go for all your funky needs

Utopia is the place to go for jewelry, clothes, shoes, boots, virtually anything you can think of. The taste is a mix of goth and punk with a little bit of retro, varied fron borderline normal to extreme.
If you are looking for something dark and off the beaten path, shop here. Their store is large with 2 levels newly expanded, including a new Adults Only section downstairs.
You can walk all over this place and never see everything they have to offer. The stock rotates frequently so if you are a regular customer you will find new items every time you shop.
GREAT place to buy a gift for that certain someone with not so average tastes.

I LOVE this place!

This is the place to go if you need a gift and have NO IDEA what to buy! Not to mention one of the most wildest stores on long island in my opinion! I love to go and browes this store because it is unlike any other store you will find. They have a prefect Adult section that doesnt make me feel uncomfortable like most i have been too. Awesome Gag gifts and the clothing is totally something you would never find in your chain stores. Retro, goth, punk, rock, and other, this is the perfect place for all! (even moms) Beware though cause getting parking is slighly difficult.

You can get lots of different things at Utopia from clothes, to rock tees and memorabilia, to incense and candles. Tons of unique gifts available here. This place is well run and has been in business for many years.
