Today, 3/9/2010, in the 1300 block of G Street, NW, @ 12:12PM a USPS vehicle was illegally parked into a DC pay-space I was attempting to occupy. The USPS vehicle #211385 (no tag visible in front or back) was approx. 3 feet into the space. I politely asked the Postal Delivery (African-American lady) sitting in the driver seat, if she could please move her vehicle forward a couple of feet so I could occupy my space. She looked at me and refused my request. I explained that I could not stick out onto G ST and that I had purchased the space, was entitled to it, and she was encroaching. She gave me tremendous poor attitude and told me she didn't care and I could call or contact anybody I wanted to but she wasn't moving. I then took pictures of the situation and I would like to have a supervisor contact me. She needs to be reprimanded for her rude and uncalled for behavior. She refused ID or name. In times of USPS distress, all your employees need to realize they work for all citizens who pay for services, and need to keep us happy and content with, not only their work ethic, but their public demeanor.
