Family owned, thats great, but hardly worth visting. The food was OK at best..The sevice was slow (not worth the wait). My wife and I were Very disappointed especially after reading great review. This place is Overrated. Much better...

Cozy little place with great food and people
I found this place because i worked nearby and decided to check it out. When i was seated i noticed the great atmosphere outside. The place was packed at the moment and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and having a good time. There was a very extensive menu with a lot of greek types of food as well. i ordered a gyro platter, and it was the best one i have ever eaten in the states. I soon come to find out the owners or managers are greek, and they greeted me and chatted with me about the place and the family afterward. If you want a hearty meal, with the option to have an entree that you would only see at upscale greek restaurants, then this is the place for you. if you want to come with a group of guys or girls to drink and enjoy the outdoor patio, this place is for you. its all around a great place to be and eat.

DIRTY
The staff does not wash there hands before preparing your food, the manager is rude. So if you want a good meal and a clean professional staff preparing your meal eat somewhere else. The staff smokes where the customers are sitting and they don't wash there hands that includes the manager .But the waiter was very polite and was put down in front of us by the manager, and nothing was his fault.

SIMPLY THE BEST !!!!
I could never say enough about this place it is a family owned restaurant and they are by far the most gracious people I have ever met I made it a point to have Michael and his brother Steve the manager-owner order food for me while I was there for 5 days and all from food,drinks,staff and especially atmosphere was beyond remarkable....and on my birthday as strangers they made it an unforgettable time for me...I cannot wait for the chance to go back and Rex best bartender incredible drinks....No one should ever miss out on spending some time here....breakfast, lunch or supper or simply to say Hi and say you read a great review!

horrible customer service
The food is OK at best. the wait is long and I'm not so sure it's worth it. to make matters worse i was charged for my meal twice. once for my actually meal and then again the next day. when i called with my bank we got some man named Michael, a real piece of work, who is very rude. they say they'll refund my money but i have to drive down to the restaurant to get this issue resolved and i live in northern Dade. it's ridiculous. if you think this place is worth is just make sure you pay cash so they can't double dip.

The Best Food in Miami for the price, hands down!
From entering the newly Renovated location, I quickly noticed the plasma tv's outside and the dozens of tables on the patio. Its very cozy and the atmosphere is fantastic. I was greeted by the manager/owner Michael, who introduced himself promptly at the door (a trait only seen at quality managed and more upscale restaurants) a PLUS THERE! Service was a little slow, but i came at what seemed a rush hour for the restaurant because it was fully packed, with only 2 tables open. Greek food being my favorite i ordered a traditional greek plate. I was kind of worried at first, but boy was I SATISFIED in the end. The food was unbelievable. Something you would not expect from a small place like this. I later found out from Michael that they are originally from Chicago with extensive experience in Greek restaurants there. That explains it! The prices....out of this world for the portion and quality of the meal. Would i recommend them? To anyone who wants the best tasting Chicago style food anyw

Amazing!!!!
Staying in Miami for vacation i decided to stop in for a nice bite to eat, and the food was amazing with equal service. The Owners Mike & Steve automatically greeted me in as one of their owns from the moment i walked in. The waiters and waitresses always with smiles and and positive energy. The chefs working in a clean environment that you can watch as they cook. and after the great meal i went and sat and had a drink to their full liquor bar having great conversations with their bartender Rex. i didn't have to think twice again to go back there, and when i go back to Miami i plan on making a few stops there again.
