Turkish delights
This is a mom and pop operation that specializes in Turkish desserts. They also have ice cream, milk shakes, tea and coffee including Turkish coffee. The inside is beautifully decorated with wonderful authentic items from Turkey where the owner come from. The cafe is housed in a large purple house that you can't miss. It's very kid friendly and outside seating is also available.

Delicious desserts
If you have driven down Glenwood, you have seen this place. It is a big bright purple house right on Glenwood. Inside is really pretty with decor from Turkey, but sitting outside is really nice. Their desserts are amazing, but they offer tea, coffee, and such as well.

Surprisingly good!
Looking at this big purple house from the outside - you really have no clue what to expect when you go inside. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised - they offer a fantastic selection of homemade desserts and treats. For the less adventurous - they offer ice cream, but if you check out the dessert case to the right - wow. I would come here to pick up some fun desserts to serve at a fun dinner party. Great outside seating so you can people watch!

Turkish Delights is delicious
The shop is pretty inconspicuous, but is beautiful on the inside. The ambience is excellent. They offer great selection of Turkish sweets. While some of my Turkish friends don't think it is top notch, it more than makes up with variety. Treats are available in all sizes. Their coffee isn't too bad.

Great Change of Pace for Raleigh
Great customer service. The place is run by sisters from Istanbul, Turkey. We chatted with them and found out one is a former bank manager and the other is a former pharmacist. This is their 'hobby' and you can tell they enjoy it. We saw many people come in for their great ice cream flavors, but their turkish pastries, especially the various flavors of baklava, were incredible. The pharmacist sister makes them with the same precision she must've used in her former profession because they're delicious. I highly recommend this place for the friendly service, the delicious treats, and just because it's a nice change of pace from all the chains!
