Our last stay (10 days) here was a disaster! After we picked up our dogs ( 2 Boston Terriers) we found that one had acquired a definite fear of ANYONE wearing black pants and this includes US. He wouldn't respond to us at all and cowered away. When we changed the pants, everything was fine. I can only assume that he was severly abused by someone at this facility wearing black pants. Phone calls to the owner of the company were diverted to someone lower down the food chain. He obviously has no interest in customer satisfaction. Being unable to contact the owner who hopefully has the power to correct this situation leaves us no alternative other than to rate this company UNACCEPTABLE and recommend that you find alternative pet care.

Do not board your cat here! The conditions are horrible.

Trickum Ridge Animal hospital pretends to care about your cat & even offers extra attention for your feline friend at a much higher rate. They talk about them getting to walk around & play.

We left our cat at the Trickum Ridge Animal Hospital for 5 nights. When we returned from our trip to pick her up, to our fright and dismay, the person at the front desk informed us that she would not come out of her cage. We thought, cage? All of the cats at this facility are kept in tiny cages stacked on top of each other w/no flooring. It's just mesh wire that hurts the cat's feet. Not only that, but we told them she needed clay litter and they used paper litter. She didn't know any better and couldn't use it. We made very simple requests and paid them extra to make sure everything would be taken care of for our short out of town getaway.

The area they supposedly received more attention at was basically a 5 x 8 area where the cages were located. It looked more like a prison yard than an a

A little pricey, but worth it

Over 13 years, my dog has boarded here, had surgery, grooming, bathing, and checkups/appointments. The vets are very friendly, thorough, and trustworthy. I have always felt comfortable leaving my dog for boarding- large individual runs for bigger dogs, playtimes, and they follow the feeding schedule of your pet at home. The prices are a little high, but my pet's well-being outweighs the cost.

What a RIP OFF!

Do not take your pets to Trickum Ridge Animal Hospital! These people are focused only on one thing - money! Every time you go in, their prices have increased. This last time I brought my dog in they told me that because he was now a senior citizen that they would start checking his blood pressure every year. When I went to check out I saw that the charge for the exam was 66.00! When I asked why it was the usual about $45 I was told it cost more to do the blood pressure, which would have been nice to have been told before I had it done. Rediculous! The boarding is way overpriced as well. $21 a day for my dog to sit in a concrete run all day? Plus almost $6 a day to give him his medication - which is a pill you put in his food. I now take him to Bark station which cost me about $5 more a day but is so much nicer and he gets to play several times a day instead of just going outside to a small gravel run three times a day. Their prices must be getting the best of them anyways b
