BAD PRACTICE – SCAM – AVOID AT ALL COST! – I have worked for chiropractors in many states, so I was really shocked to find out how Dr. Tae Kim does chiropractic. He throws you on the roller table for precisely two minutes -- way too short to relax you, and FAR short of the legal standard of care -- then puts you on a table and adjusts you for less than a minute -- and then, Bam -- you're out of there. When I tried to ask questions, he told me smugly that he does things differently than lots of other chiropractors, and that I would get better just by him adjusting me -- even though I had tons of soft tissue damage and muscle knots and clearly needed massage and other modalities. Despite not caring at all about my pain or the fact that I needed other treatment, he insisted I sign up for 24-48 visits. I also noticed that he was much nicer to his clients that spoke his native language. I am not going to just flat out call him a racist but the way he treated me versus the way he treated people of his nationality was like night and day. Every visit I felt intimidated and completely uncared for. He doesn't care how you're doing, what hurts, or what he can do to make you feel better. You climb on a painful table that has no give, he adjusts you without talking to you, and then you're up and out of there. THE WORST CHIROPRACTOR I HAVE EVER SEEN! I was never told how much they charge until I asked. I found out they were billing my accident claim $170 an office visit for less than three minutes of treatment! The "cash discount" when they can't gouge insurance companies is $40 -- a HUGE difference. OBVIOUSLY A SCAM TO GET YOUR MONEY. I still haven't received an itemized bill for their services, (another little illegal thing) even though they filed a claim for $438 on my insurance. Can you believe this!?! The whole experience is really, really weird. The receptionists are rude and intimidating even while he is telling you they are "honored" to have you there but for $170 for three minutes of nothing I guess I'd be honored to have a new sucker too. Do yourself and your friends a favor and don't be victims of this "slam bam" form of chiropractic service. THIS GUY IS A SCAM AND HAS NO REAL CHIROPRACTIC ABILITY AND HE DOES NOT RESPECT ENLISH SPEAKERS!
