I am a District Coordinator for a company called Student Resource U.S. A. This company gives presentations in Title One Schools throughout the United States on raising awareness about federal student loan forgiveness programs as well as grants and scholarships to assist with furthering education. Being someone who speaks to many secretary's and principals on a daily basis I completely understand that busy is an understatement to describe the daily tasks that are expected from each and sometimes it can be overwhelming and frustrating to say the least. I have been in customer service for over 25 years and never in my life have I been spoken to so rudely by someone who is supposed to answer the phone and take messages! This secretary refused to take a message or even let the principal know that I called and then hung up on me! I immediately called back and once again was hung up on; this is inexcusable and needs to be addressed. How dare she make a decision for hundreds of people, I am pretty sure she does not know the goals, dreams or financial situation for all of the employees of the school and has no right to say no! I do believe that the principal is the one who makes the decisions and is in charge not the secretary! No matter if she thinks so or not! This will not be the only letter of complaint that I will be sending out I am also going to address the superintendent of the district. This kind of behavior is not going to be tolerated nor should it be, I feel sorry for people who have to be around someone so unhappy on a daily basis! Sincerely yours, Suzanne Fritch
