Great Deal on a Quiet Evening
I stopped by ThaiPot (actually two separate words, but I can't use the second word on its own for this review) on a weekday. The server was very friendly and helpful. I've walked by the restaurant on weekend evenings, and it's fairly busy at that time. The ambiance is actually pleasant for a place that seems like a hole-in-the-wall from the outside. I think ThaiPot needs to alter its sign outside to give potential patrons an indication that it is lovely on the inside. The food was very good for the price. I disappointed myself that I ordered the pad thai. I usually branch out more. The pad thai was flavorful, and the server asked me if I would like some hot sauce added on top. Unfortunately, there is a minimum of 15 dollars for debit/credit. It seems to be a pattern in Queens. I ordered a warm custard, which was also pretty decent for the price. Overrall, it was a good experience. It's not the best Thai ever, but it is pretty solid.Worldwide > United States > Forest Hills, Queens, NY > Restaurants
