Exactly the same as everywhere else.
There isn't really anythign unique about the La Jolla location, which is probably the entire point of the chain. As usual, there's an impressive amount of kitsch attached the walls for no reason and nearly no natural light on the inside. This is, of course, assuming you can get in. This particular location seems to be prone to exceedingly long lines and waits, probably due to its proximity to UCSD. More often than not the place just isn't worth the wait, and if you do get in the food is, of course, unexceptional. Just good enough to keep people from coming back while homogenous enough for a consistent experience any place, any time. If you're dead set on going to a TGi Friday's, then go for it. Otherwise, the wait isn't worth it.a fun place to kick back
this restaurant is especially fun for celebrating 21st birthdays. the food is semi pricey for the quality received. i would suggest to go during happy hour when the food/drinks are half price.Awesome happy hour deals
their regular food isn't that great and sometimes costly but if you go for the happy hour appetizers, it's pretty good. i recommend the potato skins.restaurants
Fridays provides a casual dining setting for friends and family. Its environment is cool and easy. And its food is of satisfactory tastes. Overall, it allows the customer to dine on the average American foods.Decent food, friendly staff
I've been to quite a few TGIF's and this one is definitely a better one. With a large parking lot and a friendly staff, it helps raise the quality above other locations. I'm a huge fan of their oreo shakes as opposed to their alcoholic beverages. Their meat skewers are good and some of their appetizers are good.Worldwide > United States > San Diego, CA > Seafood Restaurants
