Poor service? Are you kidding?
I'm not sure what expectations you could possibly have about "service" at TDS. You wait in line, you order your food, and the wait staff brings it. That's it!

Good Food except-- old discolored " fresh salsa"...
We had two versions of the same salsa. One of the salsas were brown, bland, and tasted like it had been refrigerated uncovered for a week. The other salsa (which the staff claims is the exact same salsa) was bright red and tasted great.....

Athens Location is Great
I read some bad reviews about Taqueria Del Sol in Atlanta, but the Athens location is great.

The tacos are good and cheap, but the service here is cheap too. The waiter was rude and disappeared for almost half the night. We had to flag down a different person, who told us that he would look for our waiter.

Good food - not at all family friendly!
We've always enjoyed their tacos - despite their long lines. However, they are not in any fashion or form family friendly! They do give you dirty looks when you bring in a lil' one...Worldwide > United States > Atlanta, GA > Tex-Mex Restaurants
