Best Dessert
Take the Cake made our wedding cake and we return every year for our anniversary as well as a host of other special events. In fact, I have been known to *create* reasons to celebrate which warrant a special cake or cheesecake. Wedding cake was Chocolate Rasberry Torte. mmm Oh, and did I mention the Key Lime Cheesecake? Oh .... This place has the feel and smell of Grandma's kitchen ... watch them bake and decorate while you pick up your order.

Poor Customer Service
I've heard nothing but praise for Take the Cake so I was really disappointed to experience such bad customer service. I had intended on hiring them (and paying premium) to cater my wedding based on the great word of mouth going around. However, on the three separate occasions that I called, I spoke with three different people and all of them were rude. They cut me off, wouldn't answer my questions, and made sure that I knew they were very busy. I truly believe they are that busy because I know they are small and popular but here's a suggestion: hire someone with the time and friendly attitude to assist customers like myself who need a few questions answered. In the end, I never even scheduled a tasting because I got the message loud and clear: Take the Cake has neither the time, nor the inclination, to help anyone they don't feel helping.

BEST CAKE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!
It was my fathers birthday this past weekend, so my Aunt brought over this amazing looking cake! Not only did this cake look amazing, but it tasted amazing!! I am not a big cake person, but since everyone in my family was talking it up soooo much I just had to have a slice. I don't think I can even do the taste of this cake justice by describing how amazing it was. I've never had a cake that literally melts in your mouth. It left me wanting more!!! My aunt did tell me that she had to order this cake like a month ahead of time in order to get it. The price is a little high for cake, but after tasting it I understand why. Their name says it all!!! It takes the cake!!! I loved it! I can't wait to get my next cake from them!
