Best Ever Indian Food
I have been eating in Indian Restaurants for some 35 years, all over the world. Taj is a real jewel in the crown. This restaurant is bright, clean and friendly where the owner is usually on hand to supervise and ensure every taste is catered for. There is nothing to compare in LA. Their buffet lunches served from 11 AM until 3 PM daily are every bit as tasty as their A la Carte menu. The buffet selection is as exceptional as is the price $7.95 and all you can eat. Eat your heart out MacDonald's! How do they do it? A la carte menu is also very reasonably priced. There's a big bonus. You can bring your own wine/drinks as there is no corkage charge,Excellent food at very reasonable prices.
This was a treasure find. We were looking for a mexican restaurant that used to be at that location prior and decided to try it out. Apparently is has only been open about three months. The location is a bit strip mall, but the food and service more than makes up for it. It was so good, that we went back the next night. I had a combination meal, Chicken KKorma that included a dal, a very tasty veg of the day, rice, fresh naan and a salad. The wife had the same but the vegitarian plate. Both of us were very happy with the meal. Additionally, we split the assorted hors doeuvres. These too were a great start to a great meal. Topped it off with a sweet lassi and we were in heaven. The staff was excellent, attentive, and very helpful. In all, this was a great place that we will frequent over and over. FYI...Currently they do not have a liquer license, but they do not charge a corking fee.Small scale restaurant with big Indian flavor -- great!
What a find! Some of the best Indian food in Los Angeles right in our neighborhood! The tandoori is delicious, the curries authentic and savory. Fantastic naan (we always order too much). And the owner and staff are delightful. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's not overly fancy or upscale, but the prices aren't either. And it's certainly no dive.Worldwide > United States > Los Angeles, CA > Restaurants
