Great Cakes

My sister bought me a mini strawberry shortcake cake from here for my birthday. All I can say is WOW, it was one of the best I've ever had. It was light and not too sweet so you could eat a lot of it. I highly recommend this place.

AMAZING!!

I want to start off by saying that I'm not into taking my time to write a review for any business...BUT after ordering my first cake from Sweet Layers Cakes I had to make a point to look for a place to write a review. I was floored with the outcome of the cake. I showed her pictures of what I wanted for my boyfriends 30th b-day and that's what I got. Everyone LOVED the cake, my boyfriend could not stop talking about how amazing his cake was. Oh and on top off the cake looking so damn good it tasted GREAT! I wish I could post pics of the cake. Everyone at the party asked where I ordered the cake from and I told them Sweet Layers Cakes, in Murrieta I will be ordering all of my cakes from them from here on out. I will forever recommend them to everyone I know, give them a shot! Trust me she's good... SWEET LAYERS CAKES get an A +++ from me. :)

Sweet Layers Bakery is by far the BEST!

Ok, I have to agree, taking time to write reviews is never on my To Do list, BUT, Sweet Layers is THE BEST! Ever since ordering our first cake which has been a couple of years now, all cakes following have been from them. We will never go anywhere else. No matter what, each time, the crowd raves about the cake. Not to mention the staff is very easy to work with, they're helpful, pleasant, easygoing. Thank you Sweet Layers!

Out of this world cake!

Sweet Layers made the most adorable first birthday cake cake for our daughter! They were so gracious and helpful when I needed them on short notice. The cake was a show stopper and the chocolate and raspberry layer got so many compliments! You have to go into the bakery and see the cakes in person. Great works of art!

Is this OUR cake???

DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!

We ordered a cake for our sons birthday and though the staff was very friendly and we couldn't really complain in regards to customer service...we were bewildered by the terrible results! The colors on the cake weren't as vivid or as saturated as we had seen on their pictures of the same exact cake. There were obvious smudges and smears, it was uneven, and it literally looked like it was just put together in five minutes. Honestly I could have decorated a better cake than this myself!!! The photos of their other cakes had shiny pretty finishes....our cake looked like no care was put into it at all! We will NEVER buy another cake or dessert from this bakery again! I wish we had drove the extra distance to a different bakery...like Vons or Albertson's!!!! It would have been a better looking cake at a much better price! Worst expense we ever made.
