Dr. Swanson has taken wonderful care of my three dogs for years. He is the best vet I have ever gone to. His prices are reasonable and he is so caring about the animals.

Will never go again
Took my cat there because he had a very bad cough and he was gasping for air. Dr. Swanson said it could be anything and it would take a battery of test that would cost $300 to $500 TO START. He then told me how common cancer was in cats and scared me to death.He never even took the cats temperature. I took my cat home and watched him suffer and gasp for air for two more days before I had enough money to get a second opinion. Went to Village Animal Clinic and they took his temperature which was very high and indicates an infection.They also took a lung X-ray and found that he also has asthma ,which is also very common in cats. They gave him two shots and he hasn't coughed since. They not only saved his life,but they saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars on a battery of unnecessary tests. I think Dr. Swanson at the Countryside Animal Clinic should take his forty years of experience and retire. Thank God I got a second opinion.Worldwide > United States > Carol Stream, IL > Veterinarians
