Worst Sushi Ever!
I give Sushi Han ONE star only because there was no half star option. Sushi Han was the absolute worst sushi experience I've ever had. The place is cool; beautiful ambiance, nice colors, easy on the eyes, however, that's the only "good" that Sushi Han has to offer. I went for a birthday lunch and ended up walking out, hungry and angry. The service was pretty much non-existent. We had 3 waitresses walk past our table repeatedly without stopping by to say hi, or to take a drink order. We had to literally stop one and ask her to please take our order. She didn't write anything down, so none of the drinks were right when they were brought out 15 minutes later. An hour and a half into it and 2 out of 7 people had been served cold food. Later, our sushi made a short cameo - totally the wrong order, cold, unpleasant looking and smelling and to top it off they use Krab in their California Rolls. Ugh! I can buy that at 7/11. Sushi Han is the worst sushi a person can buy. Don't bother - there are too many great sushi restaurants in Denver to waste your time and patience with Sushi Han.Pleasantly Surprised
My girlfriend and I went to Sushi Han for her birthday. We were a little apprehensive about going given some of the negative reviews on this site. Fortunately, we had a wonderful experience. We found the service to be excellent and the prices to be very reasonable. We had several different rolls and a bottle of wine and walked out with a bill of about $55.Unexpectedly good and affordable
Small, but pretty nice inside with very affordable prices. Service was a little bit slow but worth the wait for the California rolls!ok sushi, good service
I went with a couple of friend for a pre-comedy show dinner.Strange everything
There are many other sushi places to check out. The atmosphere was cheap, the service terribly slow, unattentive and uninterested in getting a tip. The sushi was nothing to brag about, and pricing did not fit the lackluster quality. Sushi Den is a wiser choice.Best Sushi in Colorado
Tam and his coworkers are amazing at what they do!!! If you want a family owned restaurant to enjoy, you should definately check it out - You can always go somewhere else that is over advertised and underated thats up to you. Coodo's to you Sushi Han my favorite restaurant in Denver...worst sushi in denver
i love sushi and this places makes whole foods sushi seem like a sushi lovers dream. overpriced and terrible fish. If you like this place you have never eaten good sushi. dont go save yourself the heartache..All i have to say is they serve KRAB..yummy..not really! Not bad for downtown, but certainly not the best. Better then Sonoda's!
So being as I live only a block away from Sushi Han, I felt an obligation to give it a try after having a disappointing experience at Sonoda's at 16th and Market last time. I had read some of the other reviews here and saw things ranging from WOW to WORST sush ever. A friend and I decided to give it a try for ourselves today. We went in around noon and were promptly seated. I had read things about the service being slow so I made sure to make our presence known. Inside the decor was nice and seemed elegant and clean.Horrible Customer Service....
We stopped in on a whim... the place wasn't very busy, now i know why. There was no one at the host table to seat us, a young woman came out of the back but did not help us, finally we got a spot at the end of the sushi bar. A couple arrived minutes after us and were promptly given seats next to us, it was pretty obvious they knew the owners. Before our waitress had even greeted us or brought water, the couple next to us already had their food!!! We waited about 20 minutes without being helped, and we should have walked out at that point. When our sushi order finally came, we weren't given dishes for our soy sauce, and they messed up our order at that point we sent back the items that were wrong ate what we could. We had already wasted so much time there we didn't have time to go anywhere else. It was absolutely absurd to watch the people next to us being given salads that weren't on the menu while chatting up the sushi chef while we were IGNORED!!! There is GREAT sushi in Denver but my advise would be:STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE AND THEIR INATTENTIVE STAFF. (unless you have time and money to waste... doubt it....)Wow! Great Sushi
My husband and I dropped in for lunch. We are long term fans of the other popular Sushi place in town and we dont settle for "okay" Sushi. Each bite of this Sushi was delicious and great. We even spent time talking to the owner who was warm and hospitable. We tried multiple rolls and traditional nigiri such as tuna, salmon and yellow tale. We also had an amazing mussel dish. It's great to know Denver has such great options for the Sushi lovers living in a land locked state! Great work Sushi Han--you've been around 20 years and we know why!!!Okay food, hard to get to. not worth effort...
It was Asian. Yea....lackluster yeah. Bathrooms were in disarray. Food was ok, but not very common place, nor very inventive. Not alot of wiggle room for people with dietary concerns. Sushi was ok, not spectacular. Overall, not worth the time/ efffort/ or $.Worldwide > United States > Denver, CO > Sushi and Japanese Restaurants
