good business
I had this emergency with brakes and they gave a quick review on what needed to be done.As I do not have much knowledge about vehicles ,they could have told me that there is a lot of work, but they were really honest and truthful.Tthey did good job and only took an hour to do the work. Also gave me good tips and very friendly service.I like their job and also price.Very competetive pricing
After trying quite a lot of places, I find this place to be very economical and efficient. They will always repair at a very low cost. One would think that the quality might not be ver good, but that is not the thing. They are very honest and simple people and want to do a fair business. They do have very loyal customers who have been coming to this place for years. And I've also heard from some others, that if they are unable to repair something, they also suggest where to take the vehicle and get good job done.Sun Devil Auto:Gilbert location
I took my car to the Valvista and Warner location and had the worst experience of my life! The manager quoted me a price of $1,800Then after taking my tranny all completely a part. Then called me saying it was going to be $2900 to replace. I told him I wasnt working and didnt have that kind of $ so I would come pick up my car,but he said if I did it would be $350 to putt back in place and $300 for labor! All I could do would be finance the $2900 (if approved) but that would be crazy to spend $3000 on my 2001 Toyota with all those miles. So I had my step dad go down there and pay them the $350 and then have to pay a tow truck driver to drive my car out of there! So another words:If you have any major repairs to be done:DONT GO THERE,THEY WILL ROB U!!!Horrible Work!!!
I took my car in to Ray and I-10 because it was starting to overheat. I figured it was a bad radiator. It was a leaky radiator and I had them replace it. It ended up costing $550. Exactly one week later my car started to overheat again. Even more so then when I first had to take it in. So I bring it in and they tell me that I blew a head gasket in my engine! But they couldn't tell me why! Obviously it was because my car overheated, but it seemed a mystery to them why it even overheated in the first place! They said it was gonna cost at least $1300 to fix. They either didn't install my radiator correctly or completely missed some other aspect of my overheating problem. Either way -- HORRIBLE JOB!!! So now I don't even have a car to drive. And so the $500 I put in for a new radiator just went down the drain, because these guys didn't do what they were paid to do, and fix my overheating problem. The guy generously offered to take apart my engine if I wanted to do that. As if I woulSun Devil Auto is baaaaaaaaaaaaad
I took my van to the 202 West Van Buren location and was seriously taken advantage of. They quoted me 1000 and then said it would be 500 more after they took it apart. They said I could finance the repair and then treated me disrespectfully and with out dignity or empathy. After I made the payment arrangements Brad said, After we get it put back together we'll make sure it is running, there is always a chance it may not run after a repair like this... Why didn't he tell me this a week earlier and $1500 dollars ago? I willnever go back nor recommend.Sun Devil Auto is not honest
Took my civic in to the Van Buren location for an oil change and inspection. He quoted me 1800 in repairs including a cracked radiator, replacing every piece of rubber on the car, and both axles. The car was running great when I got this quote. The fluid he showed me on the radiator was just overflow from the tech refilling the radiator. No crack anywhere. The worst part was when he showed me the damage to my CV boot and poked his finger through the small hole making it bigger. When he showed me the other side he pushed and prodded it trying to reveal damage. He actually made the problem worse on both axles in order to convince me to commit to service. He lied about the radiator leak. Just a skeezy scam. Avoid them at all costs.Sun Devil......BUYER BEWARE!!
Sun Devil AutoNice guys. Bad work.
I went to the Sun Devil Auto near ASU West last year and had a wheel hub and bearings replaced for $500. Here I am, barely a year later getting the same bearing and hub replaced (now to the tune of $700 because of the damage it caused to the axel). I'm no longer in PHX, so I can't take it back to them. These things are supposed to last 100,000 miles, not 10,000. Shady. Shaaaaady.Horrible Job!!!

The guy "generously" offered to take apart my engine if I wanted to do that. As if I would ever trust these guys with anything in my car. STAY AWAY!!! I cannot stress that enough. I wish someone had let me know about how SHADY these guys are and how INCOMPETENT they seem to be. Don't even bring in a flat tire for these guys to fix because you'll be back a week later needing to replace an axle! STAY AWAY!!!! 07-07-08Sun Devil. Avoid at all cost!
I made the mistake of taking my truck into Sun Devil to have an oil leak on the oil pan fixed. They told me that I needed to replace the High pressure oil pump. I agreed to the tune of $1800 plus. When I picked the truck up the "mechanic" told me if I continued to have low fuel mileage and no power to bring it back. It would need to have the gate on the turbo replaced. I informed him that I had brought the truck in for an oil leak not low mileage or no power. The truck was pretty gutless on the way home, so I checked under the hood. The lid was not on the air box, it was next to it.Sun Devil Auto is not honest

I took my truck in for repairs, it needed a time belt. That was fine, but I wish now that I had not asked them to check the oil leak, because they charged me quite a bit and told me that the oil leak was fixed. Not true, it as still leaking. I took it back to them and they told me, it would take another $1200-1500 to repair. I told them that they did not repair it in the first place. I took it for a second opinion to another mechanic and I was told that they charged me for work that was not done. I took it back to Sun Devil and they denied it. Please do not go there, they are not honest, they will take your money.Worldwide > United States > Phoenix, AZ > Auto Dealers
