A far cry from the luxury living they advertise. My husband and I have lived at Stoneridge for 2 months now and we are ready to leave. If you want to live in a place that has walls and ceiling/floors as thin as a cheap motel, this place is for you. Our upstairs neighbor has a young kid that runs and jumps incessantly. It sounds like cannon balls are being dropped on our ceiling. We have spoken to the neighbor and management about the noise issue with no resolution. We cannot even hear our TV over the noise. It's simply miserable to live under these conditions. Another complaint I have is that we let the management know that we were referred by http://Rent.com and that we were supposed to receive a $100 gift card. Well, right after we moved in, ownership of the complex changed hands and we were told by the office that they would not let http://Rent.com know we lived here due to the ownership change. We were NOT informed when we signed the lease that the ownership of the complex was going to change. One of the selling points of this place was the amenities. About a month after we moved in, there was a large scale "update" to the clubhouse and we will have none of those amenities for 4 months. My last complaint is that the "model apartment" is unnecessarily deceiving. There are stainless steel appliances in the model and you do NOT get those in your leased apartment. I am not happy here and will be very glad to leave. I am hoping to find somewhere else soon and just break the lease. Living under the "war zone" upstairs is unbearable. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbor shut doors, cabinets, and dogs barking. I expect a reasonable amount of noise. I have lived in other apartments, but this is just ridiculous. On a positive note, there are few bugs and the grounds are pretty. A far cry from the luxury living they advertise.
