This is a nightmare. The builder his lender has made our first time homebuying experience a true nightmare.Please whatever you do, do not come to this subdivision. I have never seen a community more hurt by lies. Everything that was promised this builder did not complete one job. The homes are very cheap. Not to mention most people that are already there are losing their homes. The taxes are some of the highest in Calumet City. Most mortgages have gone from $1200-$2900 after the taxes were assessed. Does $6900 a year for taxes look good? Please regardless of where you move always do your research, higher a lawyer, an apprasier and inspector. Don\'t be mislead like we were.
