I recently moved to San Antonio and when my car needed work i took it to Star Transmission. I only lived a few blocks so it seemed convinient. It was the biggest mistake of my life. I originally spoke with the owner of the place ( Steve) and he assured me that the work was minor and that my car would be out in 2 days. as the days went by i kept visiting to see what was taking so long and the owner steve would always assure me that the car was getting fixed...long story short they kept my car for almost 2 months they charged me 516.00 and i still had to pay a tow truck to come pick up my car. I took my car to spitfire on commerce st. and they had my car running the next day and the mechanic there said that no work had been done on my car. do yourself a favor and do not go to Star Transmission on 4702 San Pedro Ave. They are a total rip-off....I strongly believe that Steven Nahnsen and rose Hernandez (the owners) are con-artist and should be sent to jail.
