Great neighborhood location, excellent faculty & families
Perhaps I am biased since I attended this school, but it is truly in a spectacular location (between Pacific Heights and the Marina district) and is blessed with a wonderful faculty. The caliber of students is high and the family atmosphere is very, very strong. It is a Catholic school with a high emphasis on morality.Saint Vincent De Paul School
Saint Vincent De Paul School is in San Francisco and is such a nurturing, creative & positive childcare solution for kids 2y+. The school is licensed & well-established, the class size is small, & the ratio (teachers:kids) is excellent.Good School, but not the Best
This is a good school but not the best in the City. It's location kind of takes it out of the mainstream of San Francisco and the kids are not really exposed to the other half of the City. it's a religious school, but not overly, more of the country club set but it does have a church and chapel. The teachers tend to be on the progressive side so I you are looking for a traditional catholic school you should look elsewhere. I think if you have the cash it's a good investment however i would look at other options if they are available to you.One of the most expensive and not worth it.
The school has all the bells and whistles but what is that without any foundation behind it? The Principal is rarely at school, and when she does come to work she wears Hawaiian shirts. There is no consistency with discipline and families are favored depending on how much money they donate, allowing many students to get away with murder. Issues are never really dealt with. At St. Vincent de Paul the status quo is OK, and when you're talking about the education and nurture of a young child or adult the status quo should never be OK.Worldwide > United States > San Francisco, CA > City Government
