Beware Of This School and Positive Reviews!!
It is obvious that these are staff members posting positive remarks or parents who are raising funds for the school and receiving special treatment. First of all many of the staff at the elementary level are in their 60s (women), who have...Great School!

My children have been attending St Thomas More School for about 12 years now. Three of my children have graduated and two are still attending. I've had a great experience with them over the years. They are very in tune with our family....Excellent Education!
I've been affiliated with St. Thomas More Catholic School for a long time. My husband and I got married at the Parish over 10 years ago and we still attend mass there, so it made sense for our children to go to school there. We are very...Great School!
St. Thomas More Parish School has been wonderful to my children. They care about their students and even the parents. St. Parish School strongly believes in volunteering and they value the community. My children were involved in many...Great LIFE TEEN program!
The first time I came to St. Thomas More church was for a Life Night. Although, because it was almost All Saints Day, they hosted a prayer night instead. I was not disappointed though. I had a great t...Beware Of This School
St. Thomas More does not have a selective admission process as do other parochial schools. They accept students with different skill levels in Math and Reading, BUT do not inform parents if your child is struggling with their Math program (University of Chicago Everyday Math) or Reading, they will NOT make recommendations on where to go for additional help or set aside time to tutor. Your child will be looked upon as if he/she has a disability and referred for testing especially if the student is a boy. They try to hold a high standard as far as the curriculum and will offer no additional support if your student needs help. If your student can't handle it, then you can leave. They are not transparent in regards to telling you this because they need the money. There is NO emotional support for students or parents at this school. No rewards for students only if it is tied into parents raising money for the school.I AGREE WITH NICOLE88Z
I AGREE WITH YOUR REVIEW TOTALLY CONCERNING THE SCHOOLS ADMISSION PROCESS AND THE WAY THEY HANDLE STUDENTS WITH ACADEMIC PROBLEMS. TEACHERS GOSSIP AND DISREPECT STUDENTS AND PARENTS. THIS SCHOOL HAS SO MANY ISSUES... THEY TRULY DON'T CARE IF A CHILD HAS ACADEMIC PROBLEMS. I WONDER WHAT KIND OF TEACHER PREPARTION CLASSES HAVE SOME OF THE TEACHERS HAD. THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE OR HANDLE DIFFERENT SITUATIONS THAT ARISE. THE ADMINISTRATOR HIDE BEHIND THE DOOR AND LET OTHER EMPLOYEES BE HER SPOKESPERSON. THIS SCHOOL ACTUALY DOES WHATEVER THEY WANT TO DO...Excellet School for ALL Students
My daughter went to St. Thomas More Catholic School for Pre-K through 8th grade. I was extremely satisfied with the courses available for all students. There were accelerated classes, typical classes and extra help for the students who needed it.EXCELLENT School!
