Awful management
I had bought a pair of sneakers here several years ago. Prices were not great but I needed the sneakers and didn't have time to shop around. The salesmen were a bit aggressive and flirty but harmless enough. However, my experience went straight downhill when I bought a pair of winter gloves at the store earlier this month. A week after I bought the fleece gloves a hole appeared in the lining between the thumb and forefinger, which continued to grow bigger each day. When I took the gloves back to the store to ask for an exchange, I barely got a sentence out when the store manager/owner (?) barked at me, "Aww, just fix them lady!! Just fix it..." and dismissed my request that he do something about it. He complained to me (!) how difficult it was for him to return the gloves to the company of origin. After reminding him that this was his merchandise, he offered to have a tailor fix the gloves but asked ME to go to his tailor in the neighborhood to get it done. AFter some more conversation, we finally agreed he would get them fixed and I'd come back and pick them up another day. This did happen, but I was so insulted by his dismissal of responsibility, rudeness, and condescension I decided to never return to the store.Worldwide > United States > New York, NY > Shoe Stores
