Warm. Friendly. Knowledgeable

I am always very nervous when I try a new salon for any service. A friend recommended Spa Salute and I was very impressed. The salon is small and cozy and the owner Rosie is so friendly and you can tell she cares about her customers. I LOVED my esthetician Alma - she was fabulous. My brows now have a perfect arch. Alma listens to you and offers honest advice. Nobody tried to push products on me which I really appreciated. I already made my next appointment and am looking forward to going back. Give Salone Salute a try - you won't be disappointed.

Finally Found a Spa!

I have been looking for something/anything to help reduce my acne scars and decided to give Spa Salute a try. I tried out the Microderm facial and I was so impressed with Kelly and the level of service, that I immediately booked 3 more appointments. Kelly has been wonderful and has discussed other services I could try but has never pushed products or services on me. It's a very relaxing and comfortable environment and I think I finally found a spa that suits me. I cant wait to try out more of their services!

I purchase the diamond microderm facial through LivingSocial, and was thoroughly impressed! My face and neck area is unbelievably smooth and tight after just one treatment. I will definitely return soon for another! They have a vast menu of facials, and I have already talked my sister into going with me the next time. We can't wait to try them all!

OUTSTANDING FACIAL!

I travel ALOT, I have had MANY MANY facials across the country as well as at all the high end Austin establishments. The facial I had from Kelly was far and away the best I have ever had! Not only was it tailored to my specific requests, but it was the most relaxing smooth facial I have ever had. They turned all the lights down to just candles, wrapped my feet in warm towels, and proceeded with a facial that was pretty much one big facial massage. My skin looked amazing afterwords. This spa is beautiful, a bit hard to find, but worth it! This is the best facial in Austin!

Wonderful Facials

This past weekend was the second diamond microdermabrasion facial I have had with Kelly and all I can say is Wow! The spa is very comfortable and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and inviting. I get a glass of wine and then relax while Kelly does my facial. As my mask dries, she massages my lower legs, arms, and shoulders. My skin looks great afterwords and I feel so relaxed! I will definately be going back for more facials!!

Fantastic massage!

I had a sports massage at Spa Salute, and it was the best I've had in more than 15 years. The masseuse specialized in energy work, and she knew exactly which spots to hit, and how to manipulate them for maximum relief. I was SO impressed. I will be making a regular appointment at Spa Salute.

Fantastic Experience

This spa is in the same office park I work in, so it is really convenient to schedule services for my lunch break. The last service I treated myself to was a Pumpkin Warp and Scrub on a weekend. It was beyond sublime. It was a great way to spend 90 min. it total relaxation on a Saturday. Also I really liked that they provide you with disposable underwear, so you don't ruin your garments with the masque. I will definitely be going back for another wrap and pedicures on my lunch break.

Excellent Facial & Friendly Staff

The place is a little hard to find if you don't know what you are looking for, because it is within a building, BUT do not let this scare you away. The facial was well worth it. When I called to make the appointment the staff was nice enough to provide detailed instructions on how to get there. (Take 183 N, exit Mopac, then stay to the right. The building is just past Braker... Look for the entrance for 10801, it's building #2).

My facial with Kelly was excellent. They turn down the lights to help relax. They wrap your feet in hot towels, and provide you with a small rub down during the session.

After my facial, I was provided with detailed information on what product I should be using and how to care for my skin type. They were excellent! I would recommend you try them out.

My first spa experience and it was fantabulous!!! lol I had a Vitamin C facial done by Alma. She was ever so sweet and did a fabulous job. I am going back as soon as I am able to do so.

Disappointed and intimidated

I purchased the Living Social Voucher for a 75-Minute Chocolate Body Wrap with Sugar Scrub Body Polish from Spa Salute on 1/13/11.

1. The service provided was not for a "BODY" wrap as advertised.
The technician put the solution on the front of my arms, legs, and top of chest. I asked her did I need to turn over and was told NO. From a sitting position some solution was put on the top of my back. My legs were lifted and solution place on the bottom of my legs underneath. No solution was put on the breast through crotch area on my front, side or back.

2. "Choose your favorite flavor, like Chocolate Cherry or Chocolate Cake"
The technician did not offer me a choice

3. No shower or facility to wash up,
I was informed that Spa Salute did not have a shower or any facility to wash the chocolate wrap, sugar scrub from the client. The Technician used towels and wiped off the solution and informed me that i would need to go home and clean off the rest of the solution. I had to put on the minimum amount of my clothing and drive home through rush hour traffic so that I could shower the residue stickiness from the parts of my body that solution was spread.

4. Scheduled Appointment to coincide with My Evening Plans in Austin.
I had plans to meet my friends for Friday night dinner and a movie in Austin therefore made my Spa Salute appointment in Austin on Friday afternoon (I do not live in Austin). I had to cancel meeting with my friends since a) I was unable to dress in my good clothes; b) I could not make it due to the fact that I now was required to drive home in Rush Hour traffic to shower.

5. intimidated / Forced to increase Gratuity
I was extremely disappointed in Spa Salute's service. I gave the technician a check for $20 for gratuity however I felt the service did not meet the minimum expectation for a gratuity payment. The technician informed me that I was required to give her a minimum of $25 gratuity as part of the Living Social deal. I informed her (and showed her) that I had written my last check and did not have anymore checks. As she blocked the exit she forcibly stated I was REQUIRED to give her $25 and she would take a credit card payment. I gave her my credit card as I was now in an extremely uncomfortable environment and wanted out of Spa Salute as soon as possible. I had not seen any other staff or clients while I was at Spa Salute.

Ask for Kelly for the best facial of your life!

In a lifetime full of many facials this was by far the best one I have ever had. Let me tell you, from the moment she wrapped my feet in warm towels, I was in heaven! Her pressure is perfect, not hard, but nice and firm, very soothing and relaxing. The hand massage felt great, and I left this place without makeup looking better than when I had it on. Request her, she is so awesome! The only slight negative, is the products are really expensive for what they are,....but hands down the facial cant be beat. Also this place randomly sells really cool handmade but really low priced jewelry.
