Sound City Electronics review
If you need something in a hurry and you do not want to go out of town, then shop here. They have all the newest releases on cd and dvd, and the latest electronics. Some things are a bargain, especially their car audio, and the work on cars is extremely professional. Their management does leave a lot to be desired, and their customer service skills are non existent. They do not price match for their over priced electronics, and are not competitive in that area. The rest of the store is satisfactory.

Very Satisfied
I must say after coming across this review above I was forced to right something. I have been purchasing my electronics from Sound City for a long time now. Those guys are great over there. And while there prices may not compete with internet prices I feel comfortable knowing who I am buying my stuff from. There knowledge and service is far more superior than many others I have come across.

Trying to support all local business, my recent Sound City experience forces me to change my mind. I went in to purchase IPOD headphones that had a volume control on the wire. The floor help guy told me he never seen that type of headphone before (he stated this a few times). I told him I have one currently and many times before, the company is KOSS (SC had KOSS headphones on display). He tried to sell me something else that would adapt my current headphones (but he must have had trouble hearing me since I told him my current set has the volume control on the wire). Well, he kept looking and kept saying they don't really make them. That is when I decided to walk out. I went home, went onto Amazon, and ordered the headphones - already received them. In this day and age of big box stores, online shopping, these smaller stores need to be more accomodating and pay attention to the customer and listen.Worldwide > United States > Bayonne, NJ > Car Audio - Video Systems
