great place for lunch
The last time I was Hickory, I visited this place. It was wonderful. Food was great and the service was outstanding. Hope to go back and will definately recommend to others.

Super Subs!
It's worth getting off hwy 19 to visit Smitty's! They have really creative and tasty daily specials and soups, grow their own herbs (fresh pesto!!) and every sandwich I've tried has been spectacular. The Bear is my personal favorite, with roast beef, turkey, swiss cheese and bacon. It is a huge sandwich and they'll customize it or anything else on the menu. The Cuban is very good, and they'll garlic press any of their sandwiches. Breakfast is also a tasty proposition and compared to the alternatives, a superb value for the money.

Best Sub Ever
Smitty's Deli is hard to find, but very worth the trouble. They are just off Highway 19 on Washington Street. I have not ever had a sub as good. The two owners are very attentive and will make anything you can DREAM of. The Philly Cheese Steak is my favorite, but the Godfather comes close. Also, while waiting on my order, I noticed they also offer catering. Not only do they cater subs, they also cater weddings, etc. I talked to the owners and found out they are both Le Cordon Bleu Chefs.Worldwide > United States > Port Richey, FL > Restaurants
