GREAT BEER AND SEXY BARTENDERS
We had a great time here. Great beer from all over and a really cozy old puib like atmosphere. A lot of wood work and brick. The staff was very freindly. I could sit there for hours. They also had great music playing.BEST PUB IN THE CITY
I love the staff! Very friendly. I was there for hours drinking New Castle Brown Ale and eating chicken wings and burgers. Great music and comfortable atmosphere.REALLY FUN PLACE
I HAD A GREAT TIME HERE. I LOVED THE LARGE BEER SELECTION AND THE PUB STYLE FOOD. LOTS OF WOOD WORK AND REALLY COZY. IT HAS THREE FIREPLACES AND GREAT OLD PUB DECORATIONS. I WILL GO BACK SOON.GREAT COZY PUB IN THE VILLAGE
This is a reall drinking Pub! Just the right music, atmosphere and attractive staff. I loved my burger and beer. Great with a group of freinds.cool place
finally a place I can go enjoy friendly conversation have beer and a burger and have fun. They always have the best sporting events on their T.V.'s and the service is friendly and without that city attitude. Was just there Sat nite played a couple games of billiards had a few beers and a burger(tasty burger). Cool name -cool place. My girl friends and I had a great time!
A really fun English Pub. I thought I was in London. Great Pub food and beer. A nice fireplace and cozy woodwork.WE HAD TOO MUCH FUN!!
REALLY FUN PLACE IN THE VILLAGE. COZY ATMOSPHERE. FRIENDLY STAFF. GREAT PLACE TO HAVE A BEER AT THE BAR OR A COZT TABLE. GOOD PUB FOOD ALSO. GREAT BURGERS.This place has gone VERY FAR downhill
Let me count the problems: music so loud it hurt, sticky unclean tables, the waitress took a long time to take our order, and then didn't bring a glass for the beer. The cocktail was very watered down. To top it off, the evening was overpriced. 2 drinks, one appetizer and one entree came to $40. And we *used* to like this place. Never again!Dreadful
The only positive I can give this place is that they have an extensive list of beers. Our seat cushions were in tatters, the table was sticky, the music and the TVs blaring. The service was appalling - our main courses arrived 1.5 hours after we sat down. The food was the freezer-to-microwave variety. And it was all cold. We'd had enough. Fortunately the manager took all the main courses off the bill. The waitress blamed the kitchen. The manager blamed the waitress. This is an authentic English pub only if you think English pubs have skeletons hanging on the wall and a werewolf in a glass closet.GREAT PUB IN THE VILLAGE
I have always loved the Slaughtered Lmb Pub. It is a cozy place with 3 fireplaces and great beer. I really love it on a cool fall day. Big beer selection and friendly staff. I love the burgers there and the chicken wings. We are going to make this place our regular spot.great place
the best part of this pub is the service............ginger was the best bartender, ginger its rob with the mickey mouse shirt lol...I LOVE THE BEER AND THE BURGERS
My buddy and I went in for a quick drink and ended up staying all afternoon. Cozy Pub with great beer list and great burgers. Cool staff too!service? what service?
I read about this place on your web site and my girlfriend and I thought that we should go check it out (the Blind Tiger was closed). We went downstairs and waited for the waitress, played a game of pool, finished the game of pool and still no waitress, no drinks. Hmmm. so we left and went down the street to the greek place and were seated and served immediately.GREAT COZY PUB IN THE VILLAGE!
The perfect place to go for a great beer and a sandwich. Cozy warm atmosphere with lots of decorations from London. They have 3 fireplaces, great music, the food was very good and 100 kinds of beer. The perfect escape. This is a my village favourite.Great neighborhood, horrible place, bad food, flat beer, poor service.
It's a theme bar with skeletons on the awning and usually attracts tourists from the midwest, probably searching for a Disney experience. There are tables outside which are very inviting but don't fall for it, like the poor fellows on the awning, you'll probably die of thirst or hunger waiting for service.Disappointed
We went to The Slaughtered Lamb on a recommendation. When we first walked in, I was immediately overwhelmed by a horrible smell. We sat at the only pub table open and it was sticky from the last customer. No one offered to clean it and the waitress never approached us so we could place an order. She kept walking passed us as she was busy tending to people in the restaurant part of the pub. We had to go to the bar to get drinks. When I needed to use the bathroom, I could not believe how small it was. It was more like a small linen closet. You could not turn around in there and I bumped my arm on the hand drier as soon as I stood up from using the toliet. Girls, this is definitely not a bathroom to go in as a group. HeHe In fact, 2 people can not even fit in the hall were the bathrooms are located. I had to back up as I was trying to get into the ladies room to let a guy pass as he was exiting the men's room. To top it off, the famous dungeon was closed. What a disappointment. We had 2 drinks and ended up leaving.Cheap drinks, fast!
Stopped in for a drink while we were waiting for our table next door at Perilla. We got a pint of Stella and a Stoli and Soda for $12. The crowd was mostly men around 24 yrs. old. It was New year's eve around 8:30 and they were far from busy.Great bar!
We came here after dining in the area for some drinks. What loads of fun. So casual and good old fun with the staff. The staff were the best! Thanks for the great time. They made it a point to make sure everyone in there were having a great time. I can't remember the last bar that would do that. They usually just want your money and thats it. I will definitely come back.Dont eat here
We came to this pub in August 2007 as i had always wanted to go there as they sell Enlish beer.Eating here resulted in violent illness
Don't ever eat here! I am dead serious, the past 24hrs have been nearly the worst I can remember in my whole life. All thanks to this dive! The waitress was a space cadet from start to finish. My date and I each had a Brooklyn Lager, both were rather warm(not supposed to be). The head on the bear looked funny, like the glasses hadn't been cleaned properly. We didn't think anything of it. The food itself was decent tasting, but 3-4hrs later I was home on the bowl, fully believing that I was very seriously ill, and I am not out of the woods yet. We both shared the appetizer and her entree, neither of us finished our food, perhaps it was hitting us that fast, and our bodies were telling us to give up on the foul food.Worldwide > United States > New York, NY > Italian Restaurants
