My father who suffered a stroke was a patient in Silvercrest when he arrived at the facility he was placed on the 4th floor and was gieven physical, speech and occupational therapy on a daily basis. Once he reach his goals almost all therapy stopped except for speech. He was unable to swallow so they worked with him, then he was transferred to the third floor and he stopped getting speech therapy because once again he reached is goal in swallowing and there was no need to continue therapy. The third floor is not a place to go if your are planning on going to silvercrest and for rehabilitation please try to inforce more therapy because the aides on the third floor were not as helpfule or friendly as the one on the fourth floor.
