Following my second back surgery 9 years ago, I turned to Dr. Shirer for assistance as traditional physicl therapy was not helping me. I was in terrible pain and could barely function. Dr. Shirer diagnosed that my Facet Joints needed adjustment and that I also may have a short leg and be in need of orthotics. Dr. Shirer worked diligently on me as I was a very difficult case. While I was initially discouraged after the first few months of treatment, Dr. Shirer simply would not give up! He believed he could eventually get me stabalized and pain free. This is exactly what happened. X-Rays revealed that I was in need of orthotics, and I have been wearing them for over 7 years. The combination of having my Facet Joints adjusted ( I now come in once a month for treatment ) and my orthotics have made a tremendous difference in my life. I have been pain free for years due to Dr. Shirer's efforts. I now play golf, walk my dog, and perform other daily tasks I was not able to do prior to visiting Dr. Shirer. Although my family moved from Highland to Beaumont over 6 years ago, I did not consider changing Chiropractors for one moment. Dr. Shirer is well worth the extra driving time.
