Superb Washing
Happy Anyone who complains about this car wash clearly has not been to enough car washes in around here. This place is definitely one of my favorites....I would not give them 5 stars otherwise. Always make my car look brand new

good fast car wash
The carwash is very fast even if you come on a busy weekend. It takes about 20 minutes for a basic wash. They always do a good job - even vacuum out the trunk. Nothing ever went mising from my car. Its about $10-15 for a wash.

Car wash, good...Shoe shine, bad.
I went to the sherman oaks car wash just the other day and my car had a very good wash.But while I was waiting to get my car washed, I thought that I would get my shoe shine. And boy did I make a big mistake? They have a new guy there that gives shoe shine and he did my shoe all wrong. I usually get my shoe shine from the other shoe shine guy named Pete. He always did my shoes good. I don't understand why he's not there and this new guy is. All I do know is that I will never get my shoe shine from this guy again.

They do nice work
I've been going to the Sherman Oaks car wash for about 3 years, and they've always done a nice job on my car. Prices are very reasonable with a coupon...too expensive without one. My only complaint is that they don't use enough clean towels, so you sometimes get smudges on your windows.

Pros - they did wash the car, sort of Cons - Lousy, horrific, abysmal service
I had my car washed at Sherman Oaks Car Wash recently, (Feb 3, 2007), and the service was absolutely horrific. After my Subaru Forester was ran through the wash, it sat forlornly in the parking lot for at least 25 minutes without a single attendant lifting a finger to dry the car, wash the windows, etc. while every other BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, and Lexus was dried and detailed as soon as it came out of the wash. I finally asked the manager when anyone was going to work on my car, he yelled something unitelligible to some of the workers, and they shrugged their shoulders and stared at him as if he had just stepped off the planet Mars....I was so mad, I told the manager that this was the last time I would ever come there. He replied, "Well, OK , whatever" and walked away. No apology, no "I'll get someone right on it", no nuthin'

worst customer service
I made the mistake of prepaying for a car detail when it was on "special". The sales person talked me into it and said I could bring my car back any time and it would take 3 hours for the detail. The first time I went back for the service they did not have time to do it. the second time they said they could do it and have it ready in five hours, I complained that I could not wait that long because I had to pick up my kids from school, then they promised it would be ready by 2 p.m. (this was at 9:30a.m. on a Monday) At 2p.m. it was not ready, at 2:25 I had to take the car with an incomplete detailing to pick up my kids from school. The worst part of all of this was their attitude. Unapologetic and unaccommodating, they acted like this was all my fault. Before this I was a regular customer there, mostly due to convenience. I will never go back again.

DON'T EVER GO TO THIS CAR WASH!
I have been to this car wash a few times and never has the customer service been even remotely satisfactory, but yesterday was an all-time low. They got deep pen marks (Long lines) all over my drivers seat. Of course, they denied any part of it, claimed they don't keep pens in their pockets (but they do--they write down our orders with pens). This is a 3 week old car, I know every little speck of dust on this car, and I absolutely knew there was NO pen marks on my seat when I left the car in their hands 15 minutes earlier.

Ive been going to this carwash for 10 1/2 years. Ive always loved this carwash!! GREAT service and friendly management! I highly recommend you to go to this carwash because they have the most experienced people!!!!! GO TO THIS CARWASH!!!! IT ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good but not great
The workers here lack an eye for detail; they always leave you with streaky interior windows and bomb your car with air freshener.
