This is It!
This is both one of the coolest and best values I have found in Austin for men's clothing. The owner has a tremendous sense of style - mostly vintage and retro clothing. My favorite thing are these "trash can" sales, where everything is $6.95 - I've bought so many cool shirts here. It really is a must see, although it's location is a little hard to find (behind Guero's on Congress).Right On!
Service Menswear is my favorite mens clothing store. They've got a great selection of mens fashions and accessories and I've often found myself saying "I would wear these clothes if I were a guy!" The staff is always helpful and make shopping for my boyfriend a breeze...and many times I also leave with something special for myself from their awesome collection of clothing, accessories and speciality items. To say the least, they've got everything that makes the shopping experience just as fun for girls as it is for guys.Hip Style for Hot Weather
I'm fortunate enough that my job takes me to New York and Europe often. So that's where I do most of my clothes shopping. Unfortunately, those clothes can only be worn for a few months a year in Austin...It's just too hot. The clothes that I get from Service are perfect for Austin summer days and nights. You can't find better shorts (I probably have twenty pairs) or light short-sleeves anywhere. I thought you couldn't dress hip in the Austin heat...I was wrong.Ehh...
Nice store, nice people, but the clothes kinda scream "I'm from the South". If you like Earth-tones and thought Swingers was a cool movie, you can probably find what you want here. I'm still looking. I didn't know "trendsetters" wear Stussy.Best shopping for men's clothing in Austin!
Of all the men's shops in Austin, this is the one for me (well, for my husband). Hands down, they have the best new clothes in Austin. But I'm really writing about the service. Not only do we get the best service at Service, but I've overheard OTHER people talk about the service at Service - AND Crown. And don't forget Crown. Kirk (I think that's his name) - he's mostly found at Crown - is the owner and he's the most attentive salesperson (if you want him to be. If you don't, he will definitely keep his distance). James or Hank (not sure which) is the same way at Service (but on a louder scale). Anyway, if you have a man in your life that you need to shop for, this is the place to go. If you don't have a man in your life and you ARE a man, this is the place to go. p.s. Don't be shy about asking them for a size because they should have more in back - unless you're a size 30.Worldwide > United States > Austin, TX > Clothing
