A sunny spot for Mexican food

Sometimes the most interesting places to eat are those that you don't notice. We found this restaurant through a loyalty program listing, and went for lunch a few days ago. It's apparently been around for several years, but we'd never noticed it...

We like Mexican restaurants, although the quality varies widely, and we tend to be a little reluctant to try new ones, when there are so many known good ones. It's usually a bad sign to walk into one and find it completely empty in the middle of the lunch hour, which is what happened here.

Despite that bad omen, we couldn't find a thing to criticize. The food was very good, not the best Mexican ever, but definitely a step (or two!) above average fare, the service was excellent, the facility was clean and inviting (though a bit of a strange layout), and the prices were very reasonable. Great Value

Service is usually pretty good. The thing I like most about Senor Sol is that the food is a very good value. My favorite is dinner combo #4.
