The Samoan Church of Augusta Ga. was started from the Army Base (Fort Gordon) in 1994. When the Army Chaplains decided to end the church's service for on Post in 2005. Than the church continued having services off Post and saving up money to purchase a piece of land. When the time was right to purchase then they bought a 7 acres piece of land to build their, what they consider a new church which is, Augusta Samoan Christian Fellowship (ASCF). The Pastor is Filipo Sualevai, Lay Preacher was Isaako Lefotu, Deacons are Keneti Moli, Afa Savea, and Pesini Tinae(new Lay Preacher). Treasurer was Tuloto Perry and Pesini Tinae as a secretary. Youth leader Faleni Mageo, Praise Team leader Kasio Faaui. There were 13 register members at the time of the purchasing of the land. More than 80 individuals attending sunday services. The church is operating under the power of the Holy Spirit, and have 5 major departments, which are the Youth, Praise Team, Father's Ministry, Mother's Ministry and Sunday School department. We have Services on Sundays from 11:00 in the morning to 3:00 pm. Praise and Worship service quarterly last Saturdays of the month. Youth service on last Sundays of the month. Bible Trivia and Debates mothly on the last Saturday of month. The Augusta Samoan Christian Fellowship touched many lives and helped out to alot of needy families around the area. Their goal is to win and revive souls and help any Samoan Families, sons and daughters who are joining the military that are miles away from their love ones, but it's not limited. We are so bless in many ways and we are still moving on no matter what comes in our way as Paul said in Philippians 4;13 "I can do everything through him who gives me strength" Amen,....
