Discovery Museum full of good stuff!

There's lots at this museum to explore. I think any good children's museum will have tons of hands on activities, and this one does, from the coloring and tracing downstairs, to the pretend restaurant dining room upstairs, this museum fulfills.
Find the reading corner for a quiet moment, or visit the store for some fun memento.
This museum really educates about the history of California and the importance of Sacramento in that history. Fun for kids, educational and the adults might learn a thing or two as well. Great setting in Old Sacramento, and it's right next to the train museum, so you can hit both in one day.
