Dr. Roby is a hero

I have a rare auto-immune disease, Behcet's, was in a wheelchair and taking up to 16 percocet a day to control the pain. We went to doctors up and down the west coast and was only put on more drugs that were slowly killing me. My husband found Dr. Roby online on a night when I really wanted my life to be over, pain was to much to bear. He called in the morning and talked to the doctor personally, he has taken great time and care with me and helped my husband cope. He is take charge and practical and gets to the root of the WHOLE disease. The patient has to be willing the make the changes in diet, exercise and medications and when you do, it WORKS! I am out of the wheelchair and walking on my own, half a percocet a day and driving. Life is worth living because of this caring doctor, because of him I am alive today. Thank you Dr. Roby and staff for your help and kindness.

Beware Of Wolves in Sheep Clothing

***He is back in trouble for having sex with a patient and employee plus causing harm to a patient with his drops--not first time but not the last since the Board has not done anything***WARNING!!!!

I am the one who sued this man but did not get enough to compensate for the suffering I endured and for the permanent damage he did to me. He started out with a small office and I thought that was what he was simple and wanted to help like he advertises. Be wary of advertisements especially people who advertise things for free as they are luring you into a trap. Trust me I wish I had known to look at websites such as the Texas Medical Board to look up credentials because if I had I would have seen that he lost his license in California and all the horrible things he did to me and others.

You also have to remember these doctors stick together in the alternative fields and that is dangerous as I was referred by a doctor in Victoria Mabray who does research with Dr. Roby and this started his "research" with me that almost took my life. He can;t deny this because he mentiones the suit because it is public. Be wary of doctors who claim to be out for your best interests and want you to write letters to state reps and help them with litigation. I am amazed at how many patients do this and even went the the legislative sessions claiming, in ignorance, that thier care was being jeopardized by TMB because these doctors were getting in trouble for harming patients. These doctors want your money and they don;t care who they harm and then they carry the least amount of insurance so they never really pay for the mistakes they make.

The oath "First do no harm" is for the fellow doctors not patients and it would do us all good if we remember that. I have the scars, literaly to prove what happened to me and he cannot deny this. All these big offices, books and other things have gone to his head and he thinks he is God and even writes his own review. That is how desperate he is for your money because he has to pay these associates by board order as his punishment. He is not offereing you anything for free but a lifetime of misery and pain. Stay away from him and doctors like Rea and Johnson who are from the same cloth and next time the legislature meets worry about your health being in jeopardy when these docs change the laws to protect themselves--insurance reform means they don;t pay for mistakes and anaonmyous complaints at TMB need to be allowed.

You need to retire and do Texas a favor and add Johnson and Rea to the list. Stay away from the Dallas area everyone. They are just as dangerous and they stick together.

I can only speak for myself...

I can only speak for myself and my experience with Dr. Roby. I had gone to 4 different doctors, none of them could tell me why I was losing my hair, gaining on average 10lbs a month even while running every day, having horrible mood swings, exhausted all of the time... I was miserable, as were those around me. I felt I was at the end of my rope, especially when 4 doctors were unable to help me.
A friend of mine recommended that I go see Dr. Roby. After one visit... My life changed. Everything listed above was reversed within 15 days. Without sounding to cliche, He changed my life. I honestly dont know what I would have done had I not found him.
That was back in 2004, Since then I have sent several people to him, everyone of them singing his praises within one month.
Like I said, I can only speak for my experience with him... and from that I would say that yes, while a little quirky but very sweet, this man knows something that others are missing. I have had other doctors say nasty things about him... They are no longer my doctors. I can only go by how I feel, and since 2004, I have felt great.

Saved my life

Well, I was just looking up his number and was shocked to see the negative reviews.
I went to see Dr. Roby in August 2010. I was at the end of my rope. I had not been able to fight off my allergies since I delivered my frist child in 2007. I had been hospitalized with pneumonia in 2009 as a result of a secondary infection from my allergies.
I had to see a pulmonologist on a regular basis because my allergies and congestion would always end up in my lungs.
I was afraid for my life. I was having very negative reactions to the powerful antibiotics and asthma medications I could not survive without.
Seriously-Avalox, levaquin, advair, singulair, astilin and my rescue inhaler were my best friends-- until I had the early warning signs that the antibiotics were likely about to snap my tendon and the advair was causing my teeth to become brittle and chip, etc...
My husband very much wanted a second child but because of my medications I could not live without, it looked as though I could not even entertain the thought.
I was convinced that a pregnancy without my meds would kill me-- but then again, my life with my side effects from the meds was not great either.
My mother had great success with Dr. Roby and had been begging me to see him for a year. Because he did not take my insurance, I delayed. I had my last monthly illness in July of 2010. I was getting sick enough to need antibiotics every two weeks. I finally decided no matter what the cost or the treatment, I was ready to try anything different. ( non-pharmaceutical)
I did the allergy test. Tried a few different vials of saltwater drops under my tongue. I started feeling better immediately.
When I got my vials of sublingual drops I just had hope. Amazingly, day by day, the problems did NOT return. As long as I did my daily drops I was FINE!
I was fortunate because I discovered I was pregnant 4 weeks later!
Thank goodness I had been able to get off of all of the DRUGS just before!
I am now in my ninth month awaiting the arrival of my very healthy baby and so grateful that I have not used my inhaler or any meds/antibiotics since August.
Thank you for my healthy baby and my health. I really am more appreciative than words can express!
