BAD SERVICE
i went there with a party of 5 for new years eve dinner around 830 and they gave us the worst service ever. the restaurant was understaffed so the hostess took our order and barely gave us any attention afterwards. the appetizers took about 20 mins. After the main dishes, they never gave us any attention until I walked up to the servers asking for a dessert menu since the food wasn't fulling. The server asked us where was our server and i said i never had one. When we got our check, they had the nerve to charge us 20% tip and we had to ask them to take it off since we didn't get any service at all!Forget this place
I went here for a Sunday night dinner. We walked in and were ignored until I went up to a waiter and asked to be seated. The food was so average it reminded me of a frozen dinner. The only good thing was they had a $1 sangria special. Otherwise I would say don?t waste your money or time.Good, dependable Italian in the West Village
I've been to Artepasta many times over the years and it's always been consistently good. From the food, drinks, brunch as well as the service, Artepasta is like an old friend you can always count on.Good Neighborhood Italian
Artepasta is the perfect neighborhood restaurant to enjoy Italian food in a casual and comfortable environment. It is conveniently location in the West Village just off 7th Ave. Service is friendly and the food is very good and resaonably priced.Big portions and good pasta
I love a good Pasta Bolognese and this place has a great sauce with huge portions. It may still be cold, but this place has a heated outdoor cafe and we had a great meal outside last night. Everyone in my party loved the food and the martinis were great. The tiramisu is a good choice for dessert. I will be back!Unlimited Champagne Brunch
Cute little place, with great outside seating. The prices are unbeleavable! The food is good and it's unlimited champagne or mimosa for 90 minutes more than enough time. The servers constantly refill your glass without having to ask. Brunch is served until 4pm. Will definitely do brunch at ArtePasta again.Very Slow Service!!!
Went there for a nice pasta lunch. They were not crowded -- maybe 15 people in the entire restaurant. I waited over 45 minutes for a simple pasta. I asked the waiter several times for the check and he never returned -- finally apologized and offered me the pasta in a bag "to go".shoulda had spaghettios
i live half a block away and thought i'd give it a shot and order take-out...very sorry i did. oily bread, weak noodles, runny sauce, tiny tiny portions. the meatballs were good, but i was shocked the blasted meal cost $17.27!!! i had to make myself a sandwich afterwards to fill up. in another 10 years i'll probably be the type to bring my food back and ask for a refund, but for now i'll bend over and deal with it by writing this review. grrr!Very Good!
I've been going to Artepasta for years as it"s a great place for lunch, brunch or dinner. Service is good, prices are very good and the food is delicious. I'll continue to go back again & again.Mediocre Food & Non- Existent Service
The service is neither good nor bad, it's just nonexistent. They take your order and bring your food in a timely enough fashion, but then you're on your own until check time. You can't get a refill of water, or ask for pepper and strangely enough they only had artificial sweeteners for our coffee (we asked). The Italian food is very mediocre (think your average home cook who's not very good, but passable to eat). I had a seafood tagliatelle and the pasta was all stuck together although the seafood part was okay.Artepasta = Yummy!
Artepasta has tasty food at excellent prices. The waitstaff is courteous & attentive. I also like the West Village location.Mediocre food, bad service, lousy attitude, hidden charges
The place used to be great, but things have changed for the worse. Their Vegetable Panini became dry and undercooked and the secret sauce that made it great last time is gone. Instead, they now have an unadvertised policy of charging for regular coffee refills (yes - that's $2.50 every time they top up your coffee cup from the pot) and automatically adding an 18% service charge to your bill (there were only two of us at the table). When we complained to the manager, she told us it's always been this way (no - it has not!) and we should just pay up. With this new attitude, you're likely to have a better experience elsewhere.Worldwide > United States > New York, NY > Pizza
