Riata Ford A Horrible Place...run

After looking on line saw several austos I like here. Got there and should have run out. Were only too eager to help find a car at first...even did some good mark downs on a couple of used cars...when they realized I really liked a car...

100 % bad service

I own 2 fords that I have had both serviced at this dealership and the service that I have gotten there is 100%
bad. Most of the time you are lucky if they even look at your vehicle the same day. I dropped off my ranger to have an oil service and a flat repair done, at 8am, they told me i would be done around noon, I show up at the dealership around 3pm to pick up my car they have not even looked at it yet. Then when they decided to finish my oil service, the check sheet of all the things that they are supposed to check was filled out incorrectly, they did not even check brake pads or any of the suspension, they checked that my cv boots were good my vehicle does not even have cv boots. I took my truck less than 100 miles after this service to some one else and both my front wheel bearings were very loose, I guess that was not on their check list.
They also will try to charge you for everything, my wife thought that the power steering was making abnormal noise so I took it in. When I took it in I had a couple of things for them to look at like a check engine light etc, they did not think that the power steering sounded abnormal, they wanted to charge me for the time it took them to check my power steering fluid, despite the other services I was already paying for. I have had my F-150 in for a few things before too, every time I go in its the same song and dance, they never call you, you have to call them, it is never done on time, you will have to take it back because it does not get fixed.

RIATA FORD IN MANOR IS AWESOME !!

I had the most wonderful shopping experience recently, and the most memorable part was the sales guy Christopher, he was very attentive to my needs and im going back to see him soon! Riata was very friendly and professional when i got my truck from them a couple of years ago, and when i went back recently to look at trading in, i met Christopher and he is wonderful, i recommend Riata and i defiantly suggest you work with christopher!

THIEVES !!!!

I bought a superduty used vehicle there, sales rep said that the vehicle was in good shape and that it had never been wrecked, after 2 months of driving this truck, it broke down, then they say it wasnt covered by warranty, though i bought an extended warranty. Also, i asked for a carfax report, and they didnt give me one. Come to find out later that it had frame damage. Also, i took my truck in there again because it broke down and they tried to say that there was more wrong with it than there was. I didnt not believe them, so i took my truck somewhere else for a second opinion, and turns out that Riata Ford in Manor was lying. They flat out looked me in the face and lied to me about what was wrong with my truck. They are liars and crooks. Dont buy a vehicle here or take one in to get repaired. The sales staff is unprofessional and crooks.

My opinion - don't shop there

August 2009, promised a car - left $500 deposit. A week later, they did not have a car for me.

October 2010, thought I'd give them a second chance. We found a car we thought we wanted to buy. They said they needed a $500 deposit to hold the car. The very same day we had to change our mind. Wife emailed the information and requested a credit to her card. Was told a couple of weeks later - "Oh that's not refundable." They said they would though. 2 more weeks and plenty of phone calls - "Oh so-and-so didn't follow through; Oh it's not mine to do so-and-so has to; Oh they haven't done it yet." Tonight (5 weeks later) I've been told it's been done - we'll see.
Go elsewhere.

Terrible service department!

I bought a brand new manual Focus in 2009. Last fall the stick shift started to jam and it was extremely hard to switch gears; I had to use two hands to do so, and even then it was still really difficult to shift. I took it in to Riata because it was under warranty, but they declined to give me a loaner vehicle even though it was part of my contract.. They stated that they first needed to determine if it was a warranty issue before they could give me a loaner vehicle. I had to call several times a day to get the status of the car, and they said they could not reproduce the issue, thus, there was nothing wrong with it. I told them to keep the vehicle there for a few days so they can see if they would be able to produce it.

After a few days they told me there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with the car. And they acted like it was something I was doing wrong and that I did not know how to drive manual transmission. Coincidentally, I have never had a problem with the stick shift getting jammed after that visit.
This week, a squeaking noise started to come out of the front passenger side of the vehicle. I first took it in to a trusted mechanic to determine what the issue was, and whether or not it was a warranty issue. He looked it over a determined what it was, and said it was a warranty issue due to a failed part.

Today took it to Riata, and told the mechanic exactly what the other mechanic told me. I had to argue with them to get me a rental car. They later told me that, yes, they did hear the noise, but they could not isolate the sound, thus, there was nothing wrong with it!!

I am in the process of making a complaint to the Ford corporation to get this issue resolved. I have been to other Ford service departments, and this place is by far the WORSE!!

Asher is the Man!

I was recently referred to Asher through a family friend for buying a new car. Car dealerships can be scary and intimidating, and I was hesitant, but Riata had a huge listing of used cars and I needed a good car so I contacted him. I'm a single mom, self employed with not so hot credit, so getting good financing was no easy task. Asher bent over backwards to get me the deal I needed. He drove me around to their different lots in town to check out the cars I liked, and worked super hard without making me feel bad to get me approved. I spent a few hours at the dealership and agree that some of the other salesman and finance guys seemed arrogant and difficult, but I had nothing but the best experience working with Asher. Highly recommend!

Straight Forward !!!!!!!!!

I purchased my new Ford truck from Riata Ford. They were straight forward, and did not pull all the games most dealers do. When I called they answered all my questions and when I arrived nothing had changed. I recommend this dealership and it is nice to have a dependable dealer that you can count on after the sale as well. I will defiantly buy here for next vehicle
