How did I decide to get in my line of work?

Are you paying a lot of $$$ for tax preparation and then you still need to add another payment to satisfy your tax obligation? This is what happened to me on my first year of tax liability. I paid $50 for a single simple tax return & I had a tax liability to pay. I luckily decided that the tax credits available were not applied properly by the accountant who prepared my return. I called the IRS and ordered a whole list of their publications. To make a long story short, during that year I studied tax law thoroughly, I amended my tax return and decided to do the same for others. Unfortunately, there are some CPA's, preparers etc. out there who are not claiming all tax credits their clients are eligible. Go only for the best!
