Be aware that although Dr, Ratcliffe is on the Blue Cross/Blue SHield Health Select network he does not honor insurance contractual fee arrangements. Instead his office insists on full payment of his fee upfront and refuses to return...Excellent surgeon, great personality
Dr. Scholl did sinus surgery on me almost 2 years ago and changed my life. The recovery was smooth and there were no complications. He has a great sense of humor and is always willing to take the time to answer questions and alleviate fears. My kids saw him too and, although he is great with them, he is not as gentle as the pediatric ENT folks in town. I would still recommend him for kids but just not as strongly as for adults.the most amazing doctor
well i'm currently 14......and if it werent for dr.scholl i would be dead right now. Ihad my tonsels taken out and it didnt heal...turns out it some major artery vain thing broke open and wouldnt stop bleeding....i feintd and when i woke up i had been fixed.....dr.scholl had come all the way from his vacation with...i think his parents and came straight to the hospital....he came back that morning to check on me....and he was the nicest dr i had ever met=)Might not be the ENT for everyone.
I like this guy personally. Talking about traffic or kids, it's all good. But when we got down to business, I couldn't get a word in edgewise. For example, he said that I did have a deviated septum, but there was no sense in fixing it since I didn't come into his office complaining that I couldn't breathe out of my nose. Problem is, I couldn't. I tried to tell him my symptoms and he just said it was allergies and a couple years of steroids might clear me up. I've done that already, and it didn't. I felt a bit rushed and a bit like he didn't think I knew what I was talking about. Believe me, I've lived with sinus and allergy problems all my life, and reached the end of my rope by the time I saw him. The last thing I needed was to be told, "Hey, you held in there for 40 years, what's another two or three?"Two strikes
Took my son to see Dr. Scholl for regular and profuse nose bleeds. The other reviewers gave a good picture of Dr. Scholl--his abilities and quirks--and I will say he fixed my son up just fine, BUT we waited over an hour past the appt time to see the dr. No "Thanks for waiting," apologies, or acknowledgment from his staff or him.Worldwide > United States > Austin, TX > Doctors
