Questionable reviews
Hmmmm...I have a feeling that Rain Spa writes their own reviews. Based on my experience, these 5 star ratings seem a little over exaggerated...Joke of a spa
Okay so I went into Rainspa for some treatments. I receieved a gift certificate from my kids and was excited to finally have some "Me" time. When I arrived I was impressed with the area only to walk into what looks like a run down old house. They had old heaters heating the room and they were eating up front. NOT PROFESSIONAL at all. I mean it was on the tables they give manacures on... REALLY? The receptionist was very sweet and offered me some tea and then chatted with me for a bit.. but I expected a mamosa or something elegant besides a plastic cup. She seemed a little out of place. She was dressed professional, very pretty, while everyone else wore regular clothes. It just looked tacky. Jeans and tennis shoes?? I went downstairs to recieve my massage. When I saw the rooms I was discussed with how dirty and cramped everything looked. The whole place just looked so cheap and run down. I have to say my massage from Dawn was wonderful very sweet women, but I was so disqusted with the place I just wanted to leave. I decided to finish my services. Facial from Tammy (wonderful lady). I then went to recieve my mani and pedi from Nancy. After chatting for a few minutes I absolutly couldn't stand her. I didn't like the way she spoke to her employees as well as how rude and opinionated she was. She was to busy gossiping about her employees and past clients. Im the client.. have some class please! Sad thing is.. she was the owner!! She smelled like cigerette smoke which Im allergic to and I felt so dirty just sitting where they ate there lunches earlier. When she went to dry my nails, she pulled out a plug in dryer that looks like she puchesed from Walmart. Come on! Your going to charge so much and then cut corners on your service?? My girlfriend booked an appointment and I told her to cancel immediately! So thats why Im posting this. Save your time and money. And if you already went.. shower and scrub really, really hard!Total Relaxation @ Rain Spa
One of the best spas I have ever been to. I mean this place really left me with a scent to remember. Upon entering, I felt extremely welcomed and the staff was really attentive. It's a total relaxation paradise. My aunt, Debra referred me to Rain Spa and I definitely owe her one. I finally found my cup of tea in Denver. This place just has all the right vibes. I really enjoyed myself at this spa; my massage was the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was just so relaxing and cozy. I will definitely return; thank you. The lady that helped me, Nancy was great. I have been to several spas in the area and none compare to the fantastic service I received here. I could feel all of the positive energy flowing after my massage experience. Very professional and much needed relaxation obtained. Absolutely excellent!Denver's Best Pedicure
This is no ordinary salon. If you are simply looking to get pampered, don't come. Because you will be not pampered but spoiled! Everything form the way you are greeted to at the door, wonderful hospitality, to the wonderful tequinique's that are used to soothe away the most intense stress, expect to be fully relaxed and even rejuvenated! This salon is raising the bar in Colorado. By far and away the best Pedicure I've ever had.Never mind

I actually went to this place about a year ago. I booked a facial, massage and pedicure. I had been having a really tough time at work and was looking forward to a few hours of relaxation. When I first arrived the receptionist and owner were sitting at the front desk. I was right on time. They told me have a seat and they would get me for my facial soon. The only place to sit was on this small sofa behind the small front desk. The owner was looking at news articles on the computer. After about 10 minutes of me sitting there the owner stood up and said that she would be doing my facial and we were ready now. Ooook. I thought that was weird but whatever. The facial was pretty good. However, I had some blemishes and she used this laser thing on me and promised me that it would help out a lot. For the next 3-4 days my face was red and splotchy, and the blemishes didn't look any different. Then I had my massage, which was lovely. I forget the lady's name, but it was really nice. For my pedicure I had the owner again. We were chatting and I told her about my situation at work. She said I was overreacting. I didn't really appreciate getting her opinion on the matter since I didn't really ask for it and HELLO, I'm the client...just agree with me! She did the same plastic bag thing to my feet as one of th other reviewers wrote about. When I got home I found all of the polish to be smeared. I was dissapointed. I thought about calling to have it fixed, but decided I'd rather not have to go back there. I mean, my overall experience was OK...The place is basically an old house and it is kind of dingy. I didn't think it seemed dirty or anything though. I guess go at your own risk. Looks like people's experience's have been 50/50 if they are all REAL reviewss.Beware!!!
Of all the spas that cherry creek has to offer, don't choose this one. The owner performs services she's not licensed for. She's crass, opinionated and completely unprofessional. How she stays in business is a wonder. There's another spa 1/2 block away.Great Brazilian
I recently went to Rain Spa to see Kelly for my first Brazilian. I have to say it wasn't as bad as I thought. Nothing like what you see in the movies. She was very comforting and wanted to make sure I was doing alright. It was nice to know that she was so concerned. We talked the entire time and she really made the time fly. Kelly uses a special hard wax which makes the "pain" so much better. She also followed up with at-home care instructions. I am so thankful that I found Rain Spa. I am surprised with all of the negative review, I really enjoyed myself. They even have free parking in the back!!They write their own reviews
So I've never been to this place. I'm looking for somewhere special for my best friend and I to get pedicures before her wedding. I'm reading all these reviews and I'm sorry but these people are writing their own reviews. If you notice on almost all the uber-good 5 star reviews there are very similar grammatical errors. Granted, we all have typos here and there, these just seem obvious to me. Maybe some people got lucky and really did have good experiences here, but I'm skeptical. The 5 star ones sound like commercials or something they'd put on an ad. I'm not buying it and I'll never go to this place as long as I live. Good luck.Worldwide > United States > Denver, CO > Day Spas
