Not a good way to treat a customer
My fiance and I like to shop local and firmly believe that it is important to do what we can to support local businesses. My fiance has purchased gifts for me at this store and I have purchased gifts for friends here as well. He recently bought things I did not like and told me it was okay to return them. I went to Queen Bee and the owner refused to let me return them unless I had the card which the items were purchased. She would not tell me how much any of the items cost (the receipt was not itemized) and offered no help. Her smug response was, "I don't know how much that bag cost, I removed the tags because it was a gift." I was considering keeping the bag but not after that. I returned to the store with his card - even though we share a bank acct. and she still refused to let me return the items. She said it was illegal for her to credit the acct without him being in the store. She said QUOTE - "Have you never returned anything in a store before?" The answer was yes. And I will never shop with you again, and my fiance will take off work to return these items. I have never been treated so poorly. Considering the state of the economy, one should be a little more helpful and friendly to a guest who spent almost $200.00 in her store. I would like to add that she offered me a store credit AFTER all of this - as if I would want one.Worldwide > United States > Nashville, TN > Cards & Stationery
