I have given this company one star because you can not give them less than that. They are selling insurance to people and then not registering it with the insurance company. I was recently hit by a driver who had been serviced by their company only to find out that the insurance company listed on his policy had never heard of him. After going by the office of the agency that had sold him the policy several times only to find no one there and not having my calls returned I was finally able to contact the owner of the company who assured me that he realized that his client was at fault and there had been a screw up with the computer but, he would personally pay for my repairs. He asked me to send him two estimates and told me that he would have a cashier's check for me immediately. I sent them to him within 24 hours. I have since been unable to contact him in spite of repeated attempts to call, email and go by the office. I have since put in an official fraud complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance and recommend that anyone else who has had a similar experience with Prudente do the same. I have since found out that they are notorious for selling policies that they never register with the insurance companies although the clients have no idea that they actually have no insurance.
