Great gym. This is one of the nicest gyms in bellmore. They are really nice, a little expensive but hey it is new york. They are very clean and have great machines.

I dont like how they handle your billing cycle I go in i pay my bill then I lose my card. Go in before the payment is due give them the new card and they never use that card and then try to charge a late fee even thou you have a reciept...

Just ok...
I went to Powerhouse Gym for a week on a trial membership and was not impressed at all. The place is not fancy in any sense, very utilitarian. They do have all the professional equipment one would need for any kind of workout, however, they did lack other ammenities like showers, a pool, and indoor ball courts. The building is not large, and was usually very hot inside. Their prices seemed high too compared to other local gyms. I think you can do better than this.

read the fine print!
Be careful what u sign at the x-treme fitness. i was a member of the XF in bellmore, ny since it was called the Powerhouse. But sicne it became Xtreme the rates went up and, my god, they kept charging me after i wanted out because of the fine print, and if i cancelled the electronic debit, they threatened me with a collections agency. applying for a mortgage, i was pretty much at their mercy.
